Callers are advising customers that they are AT&T and are changing over your long distance provider...they claim that I was switched to another server...Do not go to a verifier.

Callers claimed they were from Verizon and our business phone service had been accidentally changed over the weekend. I have received 4 phone calls from this number even after I told the first I wasn't buying into this problem (all the numbers they gave me didn't match with what we are currently paying). I also called Verizon's customer service and was told that nothing had been changed on their end. DO NOT GO THROUGH WITH THIS!

Received phone call that stated they were contracted by Fairpoint to review our bill and recommend changing long distance carriers. Called Fairpoint and asked if this was true - NO. SCAM. The scammers called twice and second call we were given a number to call back to complain and it confirmed taking their service!!!

Received a call from someone identifying themselves as AT&T who were going to lower our long distance service cost.  I told them my husband was not home and they hung up.  They began by asking for my parents who are deceased.

Received a call last week. Asking about my long distance calls. Told the gentleman that was none of his business. Hung up on him.

Hung up when voice mail answered.

Frequently get calls from this number and no one is ever there.  An annoying waste of time. Wish I could figure how to block the call from my land line.

There's some nifty call blockers on Amazon for around $50. They hold 1500 calls. When an [***] calls, hang up, go to the box, and push a button. Next time they call they get an automatic hang up. I swear by these things. That's 1500 [***] you don't have to worry about again.

Rude caller wanting to reduce business CenturyLink rate. Called on a Sunday too.

Just go to the Amazon website and buy a "pro call blocker" for about $55.00. I have been using it for over a year and it works great!  I get a little satisfaction knowing that any number I block will not be able  to call me again.   Good luck!

Hangs up on answering machine

calls all my phone lines. doesn't leave message.  Robo Call! Sometimes up to six times back to back!

2nd call after requesting to be removed by pressing '2'.... filed a complaint. What company asks you to switch to another carrier? What a farce.

Bad people calling to do bad things.  Did not leave message.

Long pause when I answered the phone, just as I was hanging up a woman came on asking to speak to the person in charge of the phone bill. Told her she needed to contact our corporate office & she hung up on me. To bad but that is the proper place to call...so tired of these calls

Caller asked to speak to the person who handles the Verizon account. She kept repeating the business name and asked to verify our company information. Beware.

Caller ID showed them as Verizon. Picked up phone. Woman talking very fast implying Fairpoint was working for Verizon to lower phone bills. Gave them no info except to say caller id shows you are Verizon. They hung up.

They are a scamming collection agency- claimed to be a financial institution looking for a man named Ramirez.. asking me for his private information- beware they are Summers
