- B| 2 repliesgot this number and a router # 920.232.5540. The message said it was regarding a purchase from footlocker. Probably wanted my credit card info.

- Tina replies to BIt's just a payment process department to verify that you actually did order a product. I believe they are affliated with eastbay.com. I ordered shoes from CCS.com. footlocker and eastbay and sometimes they call to verify the billing and shipping address incase you have more than one shipping/billing address on file.
- stan| 2 repliesit's a company called Eastbay. they look like a real company from their website. I've been getting emails saying my shoe purchase is on the way. I think the entire company is a scam.
- Caller: Eastbay
- Jodi| 2 repliesI received a call from them as well...Let me tell you this is NOT a scam. They tried to verify payment information and it turns up that my credit card was trying to be used by someone else. They verified the last four digits of my card. I called my bank and there was a pending authorization from Foot Action and I had not placed an order. Their call saved me a lot of trouble. I had to cancel my credit card immediately and have it reissued. Who knows what else could have been charged had I ignored the voice mail message???

- . replies to Jodi| 1 replyI work for them and we do help out many people everyday. Due to the sensitive information we verify many people think we are scamming them and looking for their card info. It is owned by footlocker, but there are many companies such as eastbay, champs, footaction, footlocker, lady footlocker, kids footlocker, ccs, etc. that we operate under. If you google the phone number it even comes up eastbay with an address. I'm glad at least somebody sticks up for what we do and I'm glad we could help you out
- StanReceived a call from them today to verify a charge which I didn't make. They cancelled the charge and I was able to cancel the card it was made on. Thank You Eastbay for taking the extra step.

- For RealI called Payment Verification Dept after receiving a postcard in the mail to verify an order that I supposedly placed with Eastbay. My name and the name on the account did NOT match up so they cancelled this $221.93 order. After looking at my credit card statement, I noticed several other unauthorized charges and found out my credit card number had been stolen.
Payment Verification Dept is REAL and works with several retail outfits when orders look suspicious such as this order.- Caller: Payment Verification Dept
- KMMCThank goodness they called us! We had about $700 in fraud on our credit card. They were the first to alert us to call on our pending activity. I wish more companies did this!
- Caller: Footlocker
- UmmThese people are ridiculous played on my phone after I verified numerous times I will go into the store from now on!!!! Really Rude unprofessional. Asked everything what does my social security have to do with my order??? Never again😡😡😡
- Caller: Footlocker
- I don't get itI placed an order in Footlocker's website and received a confirmation my order was placed. This number called asking me to verify my purchase and wanted the last three digits on he back of the card. I'm sorry I already gave that info and will not give it again. If this is a legitimate thing and hey won't process the card and cancel the order than fine and good. If my shoes show up anyways, I think we'll have a scammer on our hands. I have never had to do this with any company I purchased online from.
- Caller: "footlocker"
- Bill in NJ| 2 repliesI got a call from them asking confirmation of an order from Footlocker that I did not make. It turns out this is a legitimate billing department for Footlocker and someone had gotten a hold of my credit card number. I called my card company and they confirmed the charge and several other charges that had just been placed against my Visa card. I had the card cancelled and reissued.
- Caller: Eastbay/Footlocker
- Beware of Shills replies to Bill in NJ| 1 replyLooks like a scam being shilled here. Why would they keep coming here if they already knew the call was legitimate?
- WolfmanJack replies to Beware of ShillsWell if you had read and actually comprehended his post you would have seen that he was reporting that a fraudulent purchase was made on his card.
