This is a Giant Grocery store number to notify you that a product you purchased has been recalled.

Giant Foods calling about a product recall of Sargento cheese.  Left a voice message with the product information.  Good customer service.  Now, we just need to find out how they knew I bought it and then somehow connected that purchase to my home number.  Not complaining ... just saying .... everyone is watching.

Being an 800 number, I decided to answer.  Yes, it was a recorded message from Giant grocery stores about a recall of many Sargento cheese products.  Too bad the CID said "Unavailable."  Unlike BW, I had not bought any Sargento products.  I assume Giant has customer phone numbers -- at least for those who have a Giant card -- and uses a shotgun approach to get the recall notice sent out.  An appropriate choice of call type is not offered by 800Notes.

Stop & Shop about recalling hot dogs.
