Yep, we've been called four days in a row between 5-8:00 pm.

No Message. Called back and system said venture data research, One of our agents called you for a political survey

These guys have been hammering me all day.  Looks like they're trying to use a fake number to get past my call screener.

Caller ID Name: shows either Rockford IL or a number, 801-214-9297
Phone number shows: 815-977-8950
They don't leave a message and as long as they don't show true I.D with an actual name, I won't pick up (unless I'm in rare form, then I may)

They are a Venture data group out of Utah and feel that they have the right to call anyone as many times as they want and say they are not harassing you because they are allowed to make calls. They have called us 4 nights in a row at the same time. Go to VENTUREDATA.COM and you can get a number that someone will answer and tell them you want to be removed from there list.

They spoof their phone number to a local area code...

...Not sure who it really is...  We get a lot of calls from bill collectors for someone who doesn't live here.

This number has been calling for days and won't leave a message.  On the caller ID, it shows this number as the person who is calling and then a different local number under it which means they are using different numbers to keep try calling.

This number called me out of the blue this afternoon.  Don't think it's a bill collector since I don't owe anyone.  No message left.  Planning to call it back tomorrow but maybe not after reading all of this.

Yep, My caller I.d. says 360-339-5269  but the number below it says it is actually
801-214-9297,  which keeps calling my answering machine, waits for it to finish, stays on for 15 seconds and hangs up.  Both numbers are fake and no one on other end. Spoofing.

Shows up on caller Id as a "local number" 763-447-4537 but then 8012149297 shows up along with it. No message left.

Political calls are exempt from the do not call list.

This was a political survey call.

They "used a local" number and I called the number and it said how to send an e-mail to them.  Since I had their domain name I found their 800 contact number.  I called them 24 times in less than hour and cussed out any and all that answered the phone. They were made and told me that I should be on the do not call list, which of course is a joke since it was a political survey. Each time someone answered I told them that I hoped their family members would get killed, raped or die in a fire.

It's true the Do Not Call list doesn't apply to them, but calling my cell phone is certainly off limits.  I will be filing complaints here very shortly.

Called me on a local phone number but above that number the ID states 8012149297 which is probably their real number.  I got tired of the telemarketers and put on my voice mail first thing it says "Please be alerted to the fact that this number is on the National Do Not Call list and anyone that is a telemarketer, or anyone I haven't asked to call me will be reported to the US District Attorney for violation of the do not call law.  If your not one of these people please leave a message and I will get back to you ASAP   Oh by the way my home phone is connected to a Cell Company is considered a cell phone. Thank you.

We are on teh national do not call list and they continue to call. They used a "spoof" number of 352-484-0133.

Venturedata.com, while registered, is no longer associated with an IP address.  That is, the web site is GONE!

It looks like they haven't been making a lot of calls lately based on the dates of the above reports, but I got one from them a few days ago purportedly from a local number, 520-829-5868, but with the 801 number shown as the name of the caller. I don't answer any calls unless I know the caller, and of course there was no message.

I got the same call from the 352 number.. What do you mean by a spoof call. Please advise

They use spoof numbers..shows a local number in my areacode 570-299-3101..unknown on caller ID however next to 570 isthe number 801-214-9297. No message left and these [***] called at 9:25 PM...I can't understand why the do not call list doesn't work,,or why phone companies who give out these numbers can't help out. People please..do not call these jerks back. If they were ligit their company name would come up on caller ID.  All scams!!!
