Time to clean this up- Ph: 801 317-1779..............................FRADULENT COLLECTION CALL...................SCAM,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,2nd call in a week. Says by not returning the call you are waiving your right to counsel.       I feel for the old people who believe these sort of scams and give them money or the money.
COME ON AMERICA ..............CLEAN UP THIS MESS...............OUR PRIVACY IS BEING INVADED..............This is happenning on the internet, and the phone........because our consumer rights are being violated..............Retailers are making money selling off our private information including our phone numbers, and e-mail

Bull crap company has been calling me every since tax season began!! Leaving that same dumb unprofessional message....I called the company they claim I owe....bull crap company says they have no knowledge of this....they said I owe a online loan from 2013...wronnnng!! They say I was banking with bofA at the time...wronnnng again!!! SCAM!!

Been getting these calls off and on over the last few years.  This number has called several times this last week.  Getting very tired of it.  Just like others says have to call them back for civil suit.  They say they are from meiation services.  Need this stopped this is a scam

Several calls this week, 2 today alone. Message says: This is Alex Maddox with dealer services you have a pending case in our office that requires your immediate attention press one to speak to a mediator.

From reading other comments this is a SCAM

This Alex Maddox has called 3 time this week finally I answered and told him I am going to the police and he is an [***]. If you really owe someone money you would get some thing in the mail not some [***] calling saying you are in mediation already.  I hate these people.

This guy has been calling me EVERYDAY for the past TWO WEEKS.

Some phones have call blocking capabilities - check to see if yours does.  Otherwise, you could research call blocker machines to find one best suited for your needs.

Same here too. He called yesterday and then just now. VERY rude, scripted, same old speech, trying to sound intimidating. Govern yourself accordingly?? How about SCREW YOU accordingly?? What an ass. I'm going to go against one of my own rules tomorrow, and answer the call, and demand proof, in writing, of this supposed case against me.

Got same call today and returned call to have answering machine pick up.  Left message to answer the Damn phone thirty seconds after you called me....

Received threatening call from Alex Maddox stating he is from mediation. This is a Scam!!!!

I got a call from a Alex Maddox, he left one on my house phone and two on my cellphone, stating that I need to call because I have a case pending in his office, stating that he is from mediation.  I believe that this is a Scam, but I am not sure if I should call it or not.

Mediator is criminal talk for "We are really pretending to be a debt collector".  They use that term to try to convince you that they don't need to follow federal and state collection laws.  Sorry, but they do,  So, now that they have left a message, this is what they are required to do by law, and if they don't, then you know you have been contacted by crooks.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
