I called the number today and it is the Fraternal Order of Police.  I asked that my number be removed from their calling list.  I will let you know if it worked or not!

I got a call from this number and then the caller hung up when I answered.  I called the number back and it said that they would answer the calls the order they came in...weird.

Has called my cell twice, on the 30th and 31st, hung up on me the first time, only rang twice the second time.

I answered this call on 12/31/08, 10:19 AM, recognizing that someone from the same number had called yesterday without leaving a message. A man's voice asked if the lady of the house was home. His tone didn't indicate a sales call, but rather sounded as if a friend was playing a joke. I hesitated and asked who he was looking for he. He repeated: "Is the lady of the house at home?" I told him he may have the wrong number and he hung up.

Got a call from this number to my cell.  When I answered it no-one was there.

Received two calls from this number with no voice message. I didnt answer the call because I didnt recognize the number. Weirdo!

Called my cell three times on 1/31/08.  When I called back today, put on automated hold with message about the importance of my support.

received this call 3-4 times a day for the last week. Every time I answer they disconnect. Called back and it is automated saying they will answer my call in the order received the wait time is 30 mins.

finally got an answer.. It is the fraternal order of police in Utah looking for doantions. They say they are working on the disconnect issue.

This number has called me several times.  Once asking for my wife and this last one he did not respond.  If I get another call from this Ben kid I am going to report it to the police.  This loser needs to get a life.

This is a total scam group.  Call them selves the Fraternal order of Police and only want to speak with the lady of the house for donations.  They keep calling and hang up the moment you try and ask them to take you off their list.  Next time they call you just answer as if you are a business number.  They appear to stop after realizing that they are dealing with something bigger than individuals.

Also this number is listed as a Fax for a Welding Company, Electrical company,  and an individual in Salt Lake City.

Odds are they are faking their caller ID and calling from outside the US.
So just answer the phone "Hello Faternal Order of Police"  "Can I Help you?" Maybe after enough times they will think they are calling themselves and give up. Even Better...start speaking a foreign language...or fake one.  Make something annoying fun...until the calls stop.

Called number back.It says that your phone call in important to us. It doesn't say what company or organization it it from.

I just called the fraternal order of police.  The voice your hearing is a recording.  It is some sort of human computer interface where the person is punching keys based on what is said on the phone.  They have had many calls allready.  The number for the Utah Fraternal order of Police is 801-281-3250 if you want to complain.  I have a cell phone and he told me they are not suppose to be calling cell phones, only residential.  He said he would put me on the do not call list.

This guy called and asked for my (ex-wife) a few weeks ago, said he was from the "Fraternal Order of Police". Of course, I told him she was not available, he said "ok" and hung up. Called again 1/2/09 @ 2:27pm, 1/5/09 @ 2:24pm & 6:04pm, and again today. I finally picked up this time, told him this isn't her number anymore and he again said "ok" and immediately disconnected. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I just got a call from this number on my cell on 1-6-09.  It was a creepy male asking if the lady of the house was home.  I immediately hung up.  I find it disturbing that this person is calling to find out if a female lives here.  It gave me a bad feeling from the get-go.  Dirtbag!

yeah the same thing happened to me .. called back the number and it was a recorded message being put on hold and i hung up.. then called back and busy.. and they called later that night and they just hung up... weird...

I have gotten a call from this number almost every day for the past two weeks. They call at least twice a day. I ignored it for a while, because they didn't leave a message. Then one day I decided to call back and some lady calling herself Teresa answered and said they were asking for donations for the police force and they would have to call me back. Kept getting the calls and if I tried to answer they would hang up. Tried calling back again tonight and got an automated system. It is driving me crazy! How do I get them to stop calling me?
