This telephone scam says you can press 2 to opt out, but the automated system still calls back again and again and again!

two calls a day is too many; you press 2 and still get called; you call back and there is no connection they say AAA duct cleaning but different callers each time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so aggravated, we went on a trip and had 15 messages from them tying up our messaging system!!!!

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

The caller ID on the calls I receive is "Directory Assistance".  Now, why would Directory Assistance be calling ME?

GRRRRRR!

I get calls about 2 a week from this number.   I never answer, but it still leaves a half message on my voice mail if I don't answer.

Now the same call is coming from 206-708-2849.  This has been going on for months.  Two to three times per day.

I blocked their number.  They still kept calling.  Today they called hung up and called right back and left a message.
The creeps of the world never stop.

I stayed on the line long enough to get some information.  The company is AA Duct Cleaning.  Their toll free number which actually reaches a person is 877-254-6602.  I called and asked again that my name be removed.  I also have filed a complaint with the FCC.

I have decided I will call them every time they call me.

I am keeping a list of the times they call and filing a complaint with the FCC each time.

As of the last couple of days they are using a new "spoof" number 801-111-0101.

They get poor reviews on internet.
