- G Hu| 1 replyCalled claiming to be a representative of Southwest airlines. Male with very high-pitched Indian accent. Told me Southwest had opened a new dispatch center in Draper UT and I had be chosen to receive two airline tickets and a three-day vacation in either Las Vegas or San Diego. I repeatedly asked if he ACTUALLY works for Southwest Airlines and he kept insisting he does. When he started asking personal questions like my age and marital status I realized it was a telemarketer or scammer. My phones are ALL on the Do Not Call registry so I filed a formal complaint with the FCC. After repeated questioning he said the dispatch center was "NRL".
- Caller: NRL
- Call type: Telemarketer
- I don't answer unfamiliar phone numbersI don't answer unfamiliar phone numbers so I didn't answer this one. After googling the number, I am glad I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message either and I *never* call numbers back. I figure if they want to talk to me they'll leave a message.
- Lucy BanksReceived a call today. Caller ID said "cellular call". No message.
- Fool me once... replies to G HuI had the same exact experience described here. I normally hang up on these people but I went along with it. I listened to the whole pitch and then they said another person would call me back with a confirmation code that I should write down. While I waited, I googled about and found all kinds of people reporting this same type of call. I looked up NRL and it seems to be an actual place in Draper. Needless to say, I just blocked this contact and won't be returning their calls or attending their presentation.
- WSCAM!!! Heavy accented female says she is calling from Delta Airlines NEW reservation center in Gurnee, IL. Is giving away free airline tickets they just need to collect some (personal) information first. I stated "You're a scam I just googled you." and hung up.

- Hate stupid people...Got a call from this number a min ago. A lady with a heavy indian accent said something about a new resort thing being opened in Denver (near where I live) and goes on to say that I won some free something-or-other. At that point I was like "hmm.. so you're from Denver, huh? So you 801 area code is Denver? How stupid do you think people are? You really have no [***] life?" And then they hung up... i really hate people.

- SusieAnswered with a simple "Hello?"
No one said anything. I kept the line open, but covered the mouthpiece -- so even my breath could not be heard -- and the caller didn't say one single word.
I kept the line open until it went to the recording that our phone companies supply, "If you'd like to make a call, please hang up and dial again."
So I disengaged the line.
Not even 30 seconds later, this same caller made a second call to my private number. Instead of responding with a "hello," I simply said, "I'm dealing with a serious illness, and would greatly appreciate you removing my numbers from all your lists." Silence. Then I added, "Okay?" And a person with a very thick accent said, "Okay," then hung up.
So be it.
