Called my cell twice in the last week. No response on other end when call answered and left no message when call put to voice mail.

Just got a call on BB which I do not give out.. Did not leave a message.

Would make sense if American Express.  Called my cell, no message.  My Amex is past due

AMX for sure; just got a little bit late; so what. Careful on AMX they will call 10 times a day, all from different numbers and never identified.

Called me twice today, I missed both of them. it makes no sense because I'm only 14 & don't have AmEx???

Amex calling for someone, but not me.  Since I don't have Amex, it hardly matters. We'll see if they continue to call, since I told the caller that they had a wrong number.  Strange, since I've had the same number for over a dozen years now.  Usually, a person gets these kind of calls for the first few months after they've changed numbers.

AMX calling please stop this harrassment.  Don't owe them anything 0 balance.

What part of neither me nor my family has an American Express credit card do they don't understand?

It's a call from Amex collections:  I had gotten a call this morning and made a payment online.  HOWEVER, it states that it takes 24-48 hours for your payment to process, and they WILL keep calling until they reach a live person.  

The lady on the other end of the line was pleasant and courteous, she said it was just a courtesy call to advise me that they HAD received my payment, and to please disregard any correspondence I may receive in the mail stating otherwise.  She thanked me for my time and we ended the call.

There are multiple phone numbers that the calls come from, so it is very hard to keep track of them.

Left no message.  When I called it back said thank you for calling American Express, please enter your 15 digit account number.  Sounds like a phishing scam, but I guess it could also be legit.  I am not an Amex customer so this is why I suspect phishing.

They asked for a person whom I don't know so when I told them I don't know them they say sorry, and they will take off the list, but they keep calling back

It was Amex, and yes I do owe them, but guess what I ain't paying them [***] and told the collector that same thing and to stop calling me. With the freaking hig ass intrest rate they charge and for the length of time 've had the card my balance never goes down. Told the [***] im filing bankruptcy and don't F'ing call me any more or I will sue for harassment.

Received call from this number.  No message left.  Surprised that they called on a Sunday (if this American Express. I thought credit card companies and others cannot call on Sundays.) One more call and I will notify authorities.  Comes up Florida and/or not available on caller id.

They called allot and I just told them I would send them some fictitious stimulus and said good buy. Didn't work still getting call 5 to 8 a day and I write the number date and time for each call and in just a week or so I'll be contacting my attorney and the District Attorney's office as well and lets see what happens. Maybe this will be a good thing. At least it will wake them up and if not stop then maybe slow hem down a bit. Good wishes all, Be well.

Scam. Don't give your details on your account or use a yes or positive reply during the call. They can use your voice recorded reply of yes as agreement for continued calls.
