Call ID showed Smith's Grocery and Drug Store,  left no message.

Calls daily, no message

They have called me the same time everyday in the last few days. But I didn't answer cause some of those  charges cost money if answered.

Same here been getting this Phone Number 801-973-1714 showing up on my caller Id as: SMITHS FOOD AND DRUG. It gets disconnected when I answer and when I do call back there's a lady's voice on a voicemail: "Hi! This is Sherrie Stan I can come to phone right now............" (this voicemail box cannot take any messages because it is full) *beep*

Called and Asked if I shop at Smiths Grocery in LOGAN, UT. I used to over a year ago. I said No & that I used to. THey said ok and hung up with no explanation. But the weird thing is Logan UT Area Code is 435 not 801.

This phone number is a Smith's Food and Drug Corporate office number. The department is within the  Smith's corporate office and the people calling are Smith's employees. It is a consumer research department that does surveys on their various stores. Some people don't like to answer these because they think it may be bias being that it isn't an independent company conducting the interview. If you ask them who they are with they will tell you a consumer research department and rent office space from Smith's which of course is a lie. How do I know? I used to work for them.

The reason for no explanation is they need 100 primary shoppers and 100 non-primary shoppers if they asked you if you shopped at Smith's and you said no then that means they were done with the non-primary portion and only needed primary shoppers and since you weren't one they didn't need your input. How do I know? I used to work there. They are calling from Smith's Corporate Office in Salt Lake City their area code is 801.

No one would reply when I said 'Hello'....I just hung up

This is just a survey from Smiths Food and Drug about the service you received at your last visit. They grade each dept based on the surveys that are done and look for ways to improve service to their customers.

callled me at 4pm today 2/18/13.  Survey from Smiths Food..........asked them to take me off their call list......will see what happens.  I didn't participate in the survey.  Once you participate they sell your name/number and you keep getting calls every time you turn around
