They called and asked to speak to the manager. I asked them for his name. "oliver" is the answer I got. I requested his last name and he spelled it for me "amistoso". He told me that they picked this number to call for a free scratch card. At this point I said, " I don't want it. Please take this number off your calling list." He apologized and hung up.

Got a call from 801-990-8566  .   Nobody on the line followed by a hang up after about 30 seconds.  Obviously a telemarketing operation with a poorly functioning predictive dialer.  They called my CELL PHONE.  People need to be aware that Congress is considering opening it up so that cell phones are not off limits to the scum sucking robo-dialers.   When this happens, you can count on having your cell phone BLASTED with unwanted CRAP calls.   Call your congressman and senators and tell them NO ROBO CALLS TO MY CELL PHONE!

If I get another call from this number I'll try and get/keep them on the line to find out what their pitch is, lead them on and then post the results here.

Meanwhile, PLEASE call your congressman and senators and tell them "Don't pass the bill to allow robo calls to my cell phone".

I called the number and got a VM.  It is a financial group soliciting for your business.  The only thing you can do is leave a message.  The VM does say to leave your number if you want off their call list.  I don't know if it will work, but I am getting blasted on my Cell by this number so I did it anyway and asked them nicely.

    Telemarketer's Worst Enemy
First of all, you must understand that every time a telemarketer calls your business, you are losing money.  Once you get that point into your head, you can understand why people call me the Telemarketer's Worst Nightmare.  I hate telemarketers, period.

The calls from 801-990-8566 are coming from Federal Financial Group, which is owned by Rick & Christine Dixon.  For our purposes here, we'll call this telemarketer scumbag "Ricky."  They have interrupted my business operations for the last time, by calling my headquarters and each and every branch office of my company repeatedly.  Now, anyone who reads this can contact either one of these clowns directly and start calling THEIR business office and THEIR home and interrupt THEIR business and family operations just like they do to everyone else.

They claim their business address is 265 E. 100 South in Salt Lake City, Utah, but a more accurate address is 292 East 12200 South #200, Draper, UT 84020.

Ricky is a licensed insurance agent, in several different states.  In fact, it is a very lengthy list of states, from New York to Kentucky to California and seemingly everything inbetween.  Calling the number and asking to be put on their do not call list doesn't work because they claim that they have to notify the outbound telemarketing companies to do it, which means they pass the buck to someone else, thereby trying to make someone else look like the ones who are doing the calling.  Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Both are registered Republicans, which makes sense because Democrats typically do not Telemarket.  Personally, I have always felt that all telemarketers, Republican or Democrat, should be forced or ordered by a court to register with someone, like parolees.

They are both about 50 years old, and they live in a 7-bedroom 9-bath mansion.  No joke, it's a very large house in an exclusive part of the state.  Again, the house has 7 bathrooms.  Please tell me who the devil needs seven places to crap?  I could give out the exact address here, but that would only piss them off.

They have a hardwire landline office phone of 801-495-2009, and a live person answers.  This means that an innocent person, like us, has to answer the phone and deal with complaints about their company telemarketing others, so it would most likely bother the living daylights out of them.  Another phone that might get their attention is the mansion's home number of 801-571-9804.  The hysterical outgoing message on his home phone says, "If you are a telemarketer, hang up now."

You can also try calling 801-523-1497 (not sure if it works), but if you are going to call, please make it around dinner time.  All telemarketers need to be called at their homes, in the evening, during dinner.

Telemarketer's Worst Nightmare replies to Telemarketer's Worst Enemy
Like "Telemarketer's Worst Enemy" and so many others that have posted on this site, I despise telemarketers.  We need to turn these predators into prey by calling those numbers posted by "TWE".  Let's see how the owners of Fed. Financial Group like to be interrupted during dinner or having strangers invade their personal space or private home.
