I've had several non-message calls from this number. Just noting it so others can add their experiences and we can determine whether it is a scammer. Probably is. I am on the national Do Not Call list.

Got the call twice. No response after pressing one.  Suspect it is a scam also!  I am also on the Do NotCall list although that is proving to be a monumental waste of taxpayer money!

repeated calls asking to schedule deliver of a medical device and it is a recorded message which cannot be interupted. I am on national do not call list and when calling back a message says that this call cannot be connected as dialed. Definitely a scam.

Getting repeated calls from 802-448-5587.  When I answered they told me I qualified for a free $3000 medical alert bracelet - just wanted lots of personal information including credit card and social security number.  When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was hung up on.

There is an article in the current AARP Bulletin warning of, and explaining, the medic alert for seniors scam, that is well worth the reading.

I get a call every day from this 802-448-5587. Says I have a free alert bracelet and want to verify my address for deliver. It is a recording. I have tryed calling back but get a recording. I have now let the answering machine pick up, but they will not leave a message. This is getting really annoying and has been going on for 2 months.
I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

    Am not calling back
Caller ID was Burlington, VT, which is no where near my location.  They hung up before my answering machine kicked in.  I have it set on a lot of rings before it answers.

Only law-abiding businesses heed the Do Not Call list.  Every unsolicited call I've received after I was on the Do Not Call list was from a scammer.  Scammers don't abide by the Do Not Call list.  I've been on the Do Not Call list for years and I get about 4 calls a day from scammers  with different spoofed numbers and different ploys.  Some of the numbers are from caller IDs in locations far distant from each other, but the recorded message they leave is the same.  Because I usually get 3-4 calls with 2-3 hours of each other, I think they are the same scammer using different tactics.  I think Scam Central computer tries one call on you and finds out it called a legit number, but you didn't pick up, so then they call from a different spoofed number to see if they can get you to pick up.  I think they rotate through various scams trying out: "we have something for you (maybe a medic alert bracelet); please verify your delivery address"; "we will serve papers on you at your work or home"; "a banking matter needs  your immediate attention"; "you have a court date on Thursday; please call to work out a settlement"; "this is Google (or Microsoft) and we can see that your computer has been hacked; give us access to your computer and we will fix it"; "this is ComEd (even though they are not in my area) and we can save you money on your bill."  They also use surveys, esp. political surveys, to try to get personal info from you.  I've set my answering machine to the highest number of rings before it answers, so some of the robocalls hang up before they get to the point where they can leave a message.
