Keeps calling for the wrong person, and when i mess with them they get pissed and hang up... Guess the pimp is asleep

Keep receiving calls from this number saying they are from Process and Summons Division and will be filing a 'summons to appear' against me.  They say I have an unpaid payday loan, which I never applied for.  This is obviously a scam.

they called and tried to leave a message but did not finish.  then they called from another number at my job but since I know the number, I hung up on them.  not wasting my time with these idiots.  I do not answer because it is a SCAM.

they also call from a 678 area code.

This scam appears to be nationwide.  I've been hit at least six times now from different numbers all over the country.  Process serving is not done this way.  They come with 'papers' to your door or workplace; hence, being 'served papers'.  The boneheads behind this scam are using scare tactics to dupe the unaware.  Fear not, for this is just another attempt to make a buck dishonestly.  My call rejection application through my phone service provider is so puny:  a measly 12 numbers and has been 'flushed' once already.  My call block feature on my phone has only a 30-number capacity.  The whole thing is one sick joke, except nobody's laughing.  This number was a robotic call.  So pathetic.

Just got this message too coming to our business. Freaked out our employee. Told him to calm down and after a little investigation realized its a scam. Good thing we know there's no legal action our business.

Total scam. They are using a spoofing software to hide their location. I received recorded call from area code 802 (Vermont) and the exact recorded call a minute later from area code 678 (Georgia). Don't return the call. They are using a data base from old payday loans trying to scare people into paying money they don't owe.

Just received this call too.  Put the number in my browser that it told me to call back and found this.  I hate these type of phone calls!

Just found the company name. The number is listed to PaeteC Communications Inc. - VT

Paetec aka Windstream Communications Paetec knowingly provides VioP Services to scammers allowing them to harrass and rip off people - they don't respond to complaints, Internet

Answered my senior mom's phone and got this. It was for fraudulent activities associated with her name and SS# and if she didn't take care of it before the summons, she would forfeit her rights.  It would have scared her because she had fraudulent activity on a credit card within the last month (credit card company caught it and called her for approval, then canceled the card for her and issued a new one).  Didn't get the company name.

Received a call saying I was being served a Summons at my home or work for fraud. Called back and got a rude person that put me on hold.

These are "zombie" debt collectors trying to collect on old debt. They are bottom feeders. They pay less than a penny per dollar in debt just hoping to dupe someone. Even if the debt was discharged in BK they still come after you because they don't know.

Also, the debt may be old, outside of the statute of limitations... which means the debt is still owed but you can't be sued for collection. Don't pay a dime or the statute of limitations goes away.

They just called my M-I-L looking for my husband and scared her to death that he was going to be taken to court, something about a "fraudulent act" and that he would be served with a summons.  It was a robo call. Totally bogus call and told her to calm down as I came across everyone's posts after a Google search.  It should be illegal for these scammers to operate and scare people.

Received call from 8024485953 and threatened me with sending summons to my job.. Iaughed and told them go ahead and hung up the phone.  I laughed because I have been retired for 2 years.
Seems they should know that

Received a robo message followed by live person stating that I was being charged with fraudulent activity involving my social security number and that I will be served two summons through my county. I called them back and you can hear the high call activity I the background. I challenged the caller who she was and all she said was National Attorneys Network. She tried getting my name and social. I had a few choice words for this bottom feeder scam artist. She yelled and hung up and tried calling back but I did no answer. SCAM SCAM SCAM

They tried using the same summons to me at work or home scare tactic.  However, I recognized  this as a scam and didn't respond.  Please report this company using this number: 802-448-5953 they also called using a different area code.  Please bring them to justice.

It seems as though even if you block the calls, they just spoof (FAKE location, number, voice) from Georgia to now Vermont...
Numbers I don't know or are from out-of-state I don't answer, waited to see if left message, then called voicemail. When I listened to message I was threatened with having two charges filled against me... Then I hung up... Have had it before, but from "Georgia"!  Don't believe what they say!   It is a scam...
