Just got a call from this new Bennington Vermont number. But since this is the 4th or 5th number from there, it could possibly be from the same scammers as the others.  No voice message left. Just be aware and stay safe.

This is Katie, we are doing a survey-----    I hung up immediately as I have no wish to be part of any survey.

Definitely more robocalling spam. Don't answer, don't press any buttons, just ignore it and block it.

I ignored this the first 3 times they called. The 4th time, I answered and got a message they were doing a survey and looking for "David". The message then said to press "1" if I was David and "2" if I was not. I pressed "2" and the call ended. They then called a 5th(!) time, again looking for David. After that, I blocked the number.

Found a message from this number, halfway through their recording, "press 2 etc."

Received call... didnt answer... VM picked up and recorded a message.. was a survey asking political questions about Patrick Leahy?

This number called 4 times last night... no message. when I answered and went thru the survey on the 5th call, thought we were set. They've already called tonight once and asked for myself AGAIN.

This number has been calling for 2 days and leaves a mechanical sounding message. I don't know how to block this number from calling me. On my caller ID is just says VERMONT.

I received many calls and some voice mail with no messages.  It is a survey of some kind.  I've blocked the number

have received numerous calls from this number for three nights now.  Mostly ignored but answered questions with bogus answers once to try to get them to stop calling - no luck

Computer generated female voice claimed to be from "metamorphic (sp?) research" conducting a surgery of vermonts leaders. They asked for me by first name only and to press one if me. Press two if not. Then hung up.  Great name though.

Getting a lot of calls from Bennington Vermont lately. Everyone stay safe.

Every day for the last two weeks this number has called.  Always about 6pm or 7 pm. Then two more times 10 to 15 minutes apart.

Three times today.  Appreciate the reports from others.  No message left just hang ups and calls again

got 10 call yesterday  15 30 minutes apart. So far today 6 calls 15 to 20 minutes apart.  There must be a way to make them stop. I might just have to have my phone disconnected enough is enough!

I pressed 2 and waited a few seconds and was given the opportunity to press 5 (or 7 maybe) and opt out of any future calls.  We'll see.

Surveys are exempt from the DNC unfortunately.  Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
