I'm sick of getting these unwanted phone calls!

Nothing; spam. Previous business with this number went out of business in 2009. Spammer must have got the same number, maybe on purpose to trick people in thinking they were getting a call from a legitimate business

This is the second call I have received from this number claiming to be coming from CDC Surveys for the Gulf Coast Area claiming my number has been randomly called to take a survey.

Asked what state I live in --- when given they asked for something else, then hung up. I have had this cell number for quite some time, but I don't reside in the Gulf Coast area anymore. I just haven't changed my number since its easy for family to get me.

I would like the calls to stop coming in regardless of who it is calling.

Just got that call. Couldn't get them to stop trying to get me to answer questions, so I hung up

This company has called repeatedly and won't stop calling my mom and dad.  Claiming to be coming Gulf States Health Survey on behalf of  CDC.    They finally got tired of the calls and answered the survey's personal questions such as age, health status, and if recieved money from the Gulf Oil Spill.
I called the number back and it says they are ICF Macro, but that is not the telephone number on ICF Macro's home page.

I filed a complaint on the Do Not Call Registry and the FCC home page.

I might even start calling the 802-861-3177 number for some surveys of my own!!!

This is so ridiculous having to endure this repeatedly!  Why can't the phone company take this number out of commission???  Surely they don't have the right to annoy people the way they obviously do!

I answered this call over a week ago and they said it was a CDC survey for health on the gulf coast and they were calling random cell phone numbers. I called the number back and a pre-recorded message answers saying I have reached a number for the survey or something to that effect.

I told the person who called I was to busy to take the survey after they asked if I was driving at the time. They've continued to call after that, it was every other day and now it's daily.

Again!!!!!!!  I am sick and tired of this crap!!!

They call repeatedly, always leaving the same message, that they are from the Center for Disease Control, calling people on the Gulf Coast and asking me to participate in a survey.   I have never returned their calls.  They are getting harrassing.

They left a message for me to call them back.  Yeah, right!  I wish they would quit bothering me!!!

Got a call from these people yesterday told them i wasn't intrested, So they decided to call me back today 8:24pm Very annoying they asked the I even told them my nuber is registered with the do not call registry and is listed as private which i pay Verizon $3 amonth for seem usless if im being harassed by theses losers to take a survey.  The # 802-861-3177 gulf health calling for the CDC but the questions seems to be more about your personal life and if the BP oil spill affected you so i would go out on a limb and say this Company is working for BP so they can get out of paying.

I am trying to verify if these people are legitimate or not, the man sounded sincere, but their persistance is annoying, how do I get them to stop?

Complaining to DoNotCall won't help. Surveys, Charities and Political Organizations are not covered under "Do Not Call" and these organizations are making full use of it and becoming a nuisance like any telemarketer.

I have asked them to stop calling, I will NEVER answer a health survey by phone no matter how many times they call.    Although....... maybe I will and give totally fake answers.  That might stop the calls?

I received this call pretending to be conducting a survey on behalf of the CDC for issues related to Gulf Coast health.  And the only questions they were interested in asking was how many phone calls I get on my land line versus cell phone.  That relates to oil spill related health issues... how?

My take, they're conducting a survey on behalf of a phone company, probably fishing for sales leads, and the CDC claim is a big fat lie.

This survey is being conducted by a company called ICF Macro, a division of ICF International, for the CDC, a division of the Executive Branch of the government of the United States of America.

As a previous poster (BLM) has noted, the CDC is exempt from the Do Not Call Registry.
