A lady asked how many people at this number go fishing  She them asked how many people reside at this residence.  She hung up.

Called my land line. I did not pick up. They did not leave a message.

Called me again. No message.

This number calls our home land line repeatedly despite fact we are on the "do not call " registry

I am fortunate to be near the phone when they cakk (at least once a week), so as soon as I see the number on my caller ID.... I pick up and innediately hang up after one or two rings.  Hope they will get tired of this and not call anymore. These calls started the last two weeks.

Have unlisted unpublished number and registered on do not call registry.

Called.  No Mo Ro Bo intercepted, but then they entered the security code to bypass.  Left No VM.

Do you REALLY want to deal with any company (legal or not), who intentionally bypasses 2 blocks (DNC/NOMO)?

We usually do not answer these kinds of calls, but my stupid brother answered it and started answering questions such as fishing and names and ages of people in the household. He believed it was from DNR (Depth of Natural resources).  WHY would DNR from Vermont be calling a land line in Maryland?  They would not. If you don't recognize a number, simply do not answer the phone!

Called at 11am to Home land line number, I did not answer. Nuisance caller--I then blocked it on my Verizon acct.

This number robot caller with a long delay was a survey on Marine Fishing. Asked if it was Miami Dade county resident they had reached, how we go fishing, & how many people live in the house. I was waiting for the scam or the hook.... That seemed to be all of it. Sort of a Census on marine fishing & Dade county residents interaction.. I think....

Received the call at 8:45 pm. Didn't recognize. Didn't answer. I'm from the Caribbean. Fishing victims overseas too?

Called my FAX #. Did not answer. No FAX came through.

Appears to be a paid Telemarketer/Polling company for households in Maryland that partake in fishing.
Said it would affect the number of commercial fishing licenses issued in the state. Apparently the more private people fish, the less commercial licenses would be needed??  Lady was pleasant but call was annoying.

Call concerning a survey for marine and fishing. Asked how many people in our household go fishing. I told the lady that we are not interested in answering any surveys and giving out any personal information, and to please take us off of their call list. The call was from Vermont, and I live in Florida so it seems fishy to me.

Caller identified themselves as being contracted by the US Dept of Conservation and they are contracted to survey for information on fishing.  Said they don't use Do Not Call list as number is random.  Asked for county and number of residents in household.

Just had a call come through and quickly googled and got this. Didn't answer as I don't know number. I'm in Orlando with an Orlando number so why they would be calling here for fishing in Maryland I don't know!! Obviously a scam. They should check what area codes they are dialing - its not too difficult. Scammers & stupidity!!!
