This person/nut also used area code 423 today, 1-9-15, after using the 803 area code.

My machine picked up and the person said "Hello, this is Jonathan Tyler.  How are you today?"  pause..."Are you still there?"  Sounds just like a real person, but of course, you can tell it is automated by the way he talks.  Don't have a clue who Jonathan Tyler is and nor why he would be calling me...

As Spinnerbug said, this is actually an automated machine. The calls are actually coming from South Africa, so don't fall for it.

Have gotten this call several times recently.... Female pice says, "Hello, this is Nicole.  How are you today?"  At this point I hang up because I can tell this is a recording...

Yet another aggravating telemarked, I assume, since I didn't listen long enough to really know.  I answered and the automated voice said, "Hello, this is Jonathan Tyler…Are you still there? Good. We're going to be in your area..." I hung up. The "do not call" registry is an absolute joke. I'm seriously considering getting rid of my land line because of the harassment of telemarketers and politicians.

Received this call at approx. 10:00a.m. 1-20-15.  Came up as out of area on my screen.  I said hello twice,
then there was a hang up sound on the other line.  I tried to call it back, I get no ring tone.  I searched this
number on line, states it may have come from Columbia, Rock Hill

Recording "Hello, this is Johnathan Tyler, how are you today?" Paused "Are you still there?"

Yesterday received same recording from 970-364-7128 supposed to be from Durango, CO. & caller ID said Endeavor Metalg. Recording said name was Ken Dourighty (I know I didn't spell last name correctly).

I just got the automated "Hello, this is Johnathon Tyler. How are you today?" I don't have caller ID and I'm not paying $2 for *69 to find the number. I sipped some hot coffee loud enough for the phone mic to pick it up. I said nothing and the machine hung up on me.

this also came through to me with the area code 214 which is near me. I don't even bother to answer. The other area code I got was 803.. Get a real job...Make your life and time worthwhile.

I also received a call from this number.  It's bogus.  I just called the number without using the area code (it would be a local call for me) and got a fast busy signal.  I thought if you dial zero, you get an operator.  Oh wait.  It's the 21st century.  Do operators still exist?  My guess is they are using local or nearby area codes to try to con folks into answering a number which otherwise they would ignore.

I have received calls from this number several times already. The caller says "Hello, this is Peter Watson. How are you today?" The call starts with a click and then this voice comes up. Since I don't know who he is, I hang up. The same number calls again but does not leave a message. I agree with Bill that this may be a spoof.
