Was contacted by this number in reference to items I had listed for sale on the Internet. The caller was attempting to scam; saying they would send check if I provided my info and shipped items to them. Typical scam protocol, watch out.

I've gotten 3 Texts in a row for items on Craigslist. Wants to send money order and have me ship to SC. SCAM

Got the same phone call as a text today saying they were deaf!  Wants to send MO.  SCAM all over it!

Just got the exact same text saying they were deaf, too! I just posted on Craigs list!

Just texted me also with the being deaf bit off of Craigslist ad I posted.   Sad so many are out to rip people off.  I am thankful for these posts.  One ad on Craigslist I have gotten nothing but scammers.

Same thing here in Tallahassee. Ad in Craigslist they texted me wanted personal info to send payment. They are "going to London on vacation, they are deaf and need information from me".  I deal with Craigslist often and it was suspicious. Sad how a few take advantage.

These scammers pretend to be deaf so you won't call them  and hear their accents.

So glad I checked out this odd text I received for the item I have posted on craig's list. They told me the same thing that they were going on vacation to london that they were deaf, wanted my name, phone number and address to send money order or cashier's check. They said that they would make arrangements for pick up I replied asking why don't you just pick up the item and pay by cash when you pick it up. It was $285. Got no response, then googled the phone number to find these posts.

Seems very much like a scam to me, I'm in Florida.

Just got a text from this guy. Said he was deaf. I thought it was funny since its a guitar I'm selling. I put my guitar on craigslist yesterday and have had four hits from scammers.
I'm bored I think I will screw with this one for awhile.
Deaf guy and a guitar to funny.
Kinda like a guy with no lips buying a harmonica
