A recording started to play about my current credit card.  I do not have a credit card, so this is a hoax or scam to phish for my personal id information.  I just do not talk to these type of folks.  I do not waste my energy to get mad, just ignore them.  

Called and hung up when answering machine picked up.  Suspect this is a telemarketing criminal.

A robocall about lowering the interest rates on a credit card that I don't even have.  Nice try at trying to get a credit card number from someone who doesn't even have one.  Wish there was a way to track these idiots down and make them pay for it.

When I saw this number ring in with out of area on caller ID, figured somebody was up to no good.  Did not answer.  They did not leave message.  

I have sick relative here & this is so disturbing to have all these callers all day!  I'm running out of blocks on my phone set!  

Fake number.  I tried to call it back after I hung up on the recording.  Call won't go through.  Said it was "Credit Card Services".
It doesn't help being on the "Do Not Call List".  

Caller id say customer service.  

Another telescammer with a tired old act.  They say I can lower my credit card interest rates to 6.9%.  Big deal, I can get a home equity line of credit for 3.5% and use that to consolidate any credit card debt I may have.  This is assuming that these clowns are legit -- I think it more likely they are just scammers trying to find out personal info.

Oh, and Kat -- you're right, it does no good being on the DNC List.  But even if that List were enforced and had real teeth, it wouldn't stop a crook.  The DNC List is an honor system, & crooks have no honor.

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!

This number popped up yesterday on a bunch of different “work” cell phones. It seems they were calling the entire group sequentially. I couldn’t report it until today because the 800Notes web site was down.

The card service scammers   WILL   'service' our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!

Just rec'd call from 803-335-2859 at 11:25am EST. Guess according the posts someone wants to finish Christmas Shopping with our cards. My caller ID said S. Carolina Call. Didn't answer, no msg. left. Blocked on my phone immediately.

I have Panasonic phone set & I'm only allowed 30 blocks. Am almost full for this month already. I just go through & delete some to give me room for more. I keep a list in Word document of the numbers I have blocked & go by it to see who called last. The ones haven't received lately I delete, start over. Takes time but well worth it to not talk to these scumbags! Merry Christmas to everyone posting on here. All of you that post help me a lot.

Also, really sorry about your sick relative. I'm sure it is really frustrating will all these calls. I have family out of state & get calls with their area code & upsets me as well. Hope your sick relative doing better.

Got  a call from this number claiming that my computer was being hacked as we spoke I didn't stay on the line

Answered the phone but no one replied. Caller ID said it was CUSTOMER SRVC. Added it to the blocked numbers in my phone.

My caller ID also said "Customer Service".  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Caller ID said:  "Unknown Name."  I picked up and it sounded like a recording - "Credit Card Services" wanting to give me offers on credit protection.  I just hung up.  I guess being on a no-call list does not help.

While I was out this number called but left no message. Caller ID shows AIKEN, and the number.

Found the number on my Caller ID today.  Called about 11:30 a.m., left no message, and Caller ID showed "Unknown."  A search of the Internet revealed the call came from a landline in Aiken, SC.  . . . Never answer a call whose number I don't recognize.

Once again this is my last chance to get lower interest rates on my credit card.
