I got a call for this number saying that I owe money and was being taken to court for a payday loan. I asked for something in writing and they said they were only a middleman trying to settle.Has anyone gotten a call like this from this number?

They just called my phone too and this is not the first time. I committed the mistake of putting my information in one of those cheap websites. The first time they called saying it was about some copyright infringement and now they say it is about some legal action being taking against me and immediately offer if I want to settle. When you call a few days later, this phone numbers are usually disconnected.  It is a scam. I just hope everybody researches before giving their money to those people.

It is a Scam in which they try to make you believe you must pay to avoid having legal actions taken against you. Ironic, that is so illegal, and there is usually no one you can reach about it.

My husband just got a call (actually they left a voice mail at my father in laws and step daughter) wont give me any information .. My husband called, asked for information to be faxed to him of what they are claiming he owes..all they say you must settle right  now or we will serve you papers.. ? serve away!

I just got a call from this company saying that I had a court action against me and that I had 48 hours to respond and was welcome to forward it to my attorney. They only called my cell phone number not my home number, which is not private. Additionally, they called my children's phones which are all on one cell phone account. They said I had taken out a loan at Cash Advance and was being sued for $1200.00.

I just got a call from this number saying the same thing I have 48 hrs to call them back and that this was a special agent calling about it. I have no idea what this is about. What has happenend to you since you go this call.

I got a voicemail on my home phone from someone calling herself Special Agent Christie Little. She said that she was calling to notify me of a legal complaint that was being filed against me and I should be aware that it involved a restraining order. She left me a claim/affadavit number and the 803 number. I was relieved to see all these posts here...

Add me to the list.  Mine was actually a message left at my home number for my father in law.  Yogini- have you been listening to my voicemail?  Except that my agent's name was Stella Rose, that is word for word what mine said.

I just got a call from this number at my mom's house. They referenced my maiden name which I haven't had for over 7 years. It was from a mumbling person that stated he was a Special Investigator named Mr. Perry (or something like that, it was really hard to understand this person). He said there was a court action against me and it sounded like somethng about a restraining order and that there was a court action for me to appear and that I had 48 hours to respond and talk to my attorney. He referenced a file number. I called back and it went to some answering service. I didn't leave a message. Glad I googled the phone number. I was about to freak out and had no idea what this was about.

I received a phone, well actually they call my father-in-law's phone and left a message. I called and talked to someone by the name of Grace Snowden saying they were going to take me to court for a payday loan from Cash Advance. They wanted me to make arrangements with them, in which I didn't.
They said they will be sending me a subpoena for court.

I just got a call telling me that a restraining order was filed against me if I don't appear in court for an outstanding debt in 2005. they wanted to confirm one of my previous addresses and the first 3 digits of my social sec. no. which I didn't confirm or deny. They use a lot of legal terms which makes this sound believable. I work in the legal field so I got suspicious right away. They claimed an action for fraud has been filed against me. Hilarious...I'm going on with my day! :) Total bogus!

Just got the call/ message on my home phone.  Has anyone been able to determine how we have all been targeted?
Has the police/ Fbi/ FTC been notified.

Scammers.  I hate them.

they just called me too. about ten minutes ago. michelle diggs saying she was calling from dockets and liens and they had a claim against me.. this also happened to me with another comp as well.. i contacted the ftc and gave details of the call and also called the attorney general office in nj..

Sad. I just recieved a call and was in panic mode.  That 803 number called my parents number, where I havent lived in 9 years.  Mentioned Jackie Smith was an investigator and said I had an accusation of a restraining order, in which I had 24-48 hours to respond with my attorney in court.  I started investigating myself, found this site now I am relieved. I am most curious how they come up with the victims they choose to harass.  My mom is so ready to report them. These days you really have to be a terrible person to think of NEW ways to be a criminal.  Pray.

My wife got a call on her cell phone from this number stating that a special agent want to contact her about an outstanding debt from 2006 for a credit card account we had closed but did t pay the balance. They called her mother which she hasn't lived with for over 10 years. And told her the same thing affidavit number the whole works. My wife called back this morning. Didnt tell me. She fell for the scam and gave them our routing number and account number. She called me told me this I knew it was a scam. We just spent the last hour and a half changing account numbers. Watch out these guys are tricky. We also did have the account they were talking about it was still open just frozen because no activity. We will see what happens next. Think we took care of all possible avenues of identity theft

Received a call from this number today, told me I had been subpoenaed and was representing a finance company. Tried to get me to send money to them so they can send it to the company. I called BS on him, he didn't take it too well. Called the company I use, they said my account was fine, I stayed on the line while they called the number (803-369-3109), they wouldn't answer. My company said ignore the phone call. There's a special place in hell for folks that do these scams. When I asked for the name of their company, they mumbled, so I asked him to spell it and give me their address. That was when he started asked rude and even more threatening. I had just came back to work an hour before from having a CT scan to see if I have lung cancer. He picked the wrong day to mess with me. BEWARE OF THIS PHONE NUMBER.

Stella Rose called left message with affidavit number. They used my maiden name and my husband's first name. I started asking questions about this and they hung up on me. They kept saying do you want removed from the call list and I asked what call list and they would not specify.

They just did the same thing to me today. They called my mother's number (that I haven't been affiliated with in 15 years), claiming that they were  "Special Prosecutor Mr. Terry," and that they were calling to inform me that a restraining order was being filed against me and I had 48 hours to respond.  They even gave a bogus case number so that I could supposedly give to my lawyer. Too bad for them, orders can only be served in person by a third person.  And too bad for them that filing a restraining order in forty-eight hours meant that court was convening  on Labor Day. Or that the phone number they gave was a SC number (I live in California).  Not the brightest Thugs in Charleston.

My wife called the number, and was sent to Dockets, Leans, and Seizures, which then led her to United Processing Service Agency.  She then called the local police to report them, but they just sort of blew her off, telling her to ignore it.  They only said to call if the phone calls became harassing. She called it an irritating waste of her time.

But the most bothersome element was how it affected my mother.  She's a nervous, excitable person, elderly and with high blood pressure to boot.  This message, left on HER machine, really put her into a panic.

Wow, talk about adding insult to injury!  I hope your scans came back negative.  My cousin was targeted as well.  She says that they buy old debts (debts that have been paid off), and attempt to "double dip" scamming you for the amount a second time.

I hope you gave them hell.

Thanks for posting these people should be ashamed of themseleves harssing people like this, I am a victim of ID theft & have gotten a police report & everything & they still want me to pay back money I didnt even borrow, funny thing is way before they claimed I borrowed this money I started to consolidated my debt & closed all my credit cards & why would I mess up my credit getting a loan this not paying...anyways thanks for posting & sorry for all the trouble.
