Wow, didn't really expect to find this number here. Have gotten several calls this week from 803-462-5006. Caller ID is "Black, C."  Didn't recognize the name or number, so I haven't answered. Just got another one at 7:23 on a Saturday night.

I live in South Carolina, so I thought it was just a wrong number, but now I'm not so sure.

My mother just got a call from 803-462-5006 and the name is Black, C. This person stated they were with the Fraternal Order of Police and were looking for donations. When my mother tried to explained that she wouldn't be able to help at this time, the fellow hung up on her.

Just got my third call FROM  1-803-462-5006.  The name on my caller ID is Black, C.  He stated that I had won $20,000 and that he had notified me several times.  He wants to know why I have not call back.  Now I see that he is telemarketer.  I will not answer his call.  He just called me at 10:06 pm which is not permitted by SC law.  Who do I report him too for harassing phone call?

Same here. Just got  a call from this number and it came up as Black, C as well. Only difference is no one said anything when I answered

I got the call tonight at 5 minutes of 8pm.  I knew I didn't know anyone with that name or number even though I live in SC. I did not answer and never will. If they start calling me after 9 pm I will call the police. Thanks.

Several calls at odd times.  No message, just a hang-up when I do not answer.  Live in SC also, so it's hard not to answer since I have friends/relatives in the 803 area code.  Thanks, Elizabeth for the heads-up.  Nothing shows on my Caller ID except the number.  Now, I'm like Rose.  Will not answer.  I believe this is one of the organizations that I have looked up in the past and only about 10-15% gets to the Police.  The other 85-90% goes for "Administrative Costs".  You would be better off handing cash to the next Police Officer you see...As long as he/she is not giving you a ticket.  Then it would be called bribery. : )

Numerous "charity" calls...

Keep getting this call at work 803.462.5006.  Caller ID states "C Black".  I too live and work in Columbia, SC.  Don't know them.  Don't answer the phone.  They let it ring 2 times, hang up and call again.  Very annoying.  Work phone number is on do not call list.  Wish they would stop calling.  

This is the 4th time in 2 weeks with a name of Black, C, do not know them and not about to answer. They love to irritate older people and I am sick of it. This kind of junk makes me want to remove a landline phone out except for my alarm system. How can this be stopped? Do Not Call Registry does nothing. Thanks.

Solicitation call from  Fraternal Order of Police fundraising marketer. Claims to send out booklet and decal after support to officers and families in state. I asked if caller knew Mark Hammond? No. Well he is state Secretary of State who approves these phone solicitations and since caller called a number on do not call list, I will not respect their request and remove me from your caller list. Caller replied he would remove the number, but as I have previously had this solicitation, and the SC POLICE fund raisers do not employ these marketers, I will file another complaint on this caller

I've gotten a couple of calls from this phone number with name C. Black.  SCAM SCAM SCAM!  

Keep getting calls from 803-462-5006. I do not answer call that I do not know the number. They will not leave a message. Just called it back and some man just said hello so I hung up on him.

I, like others, live in SC and thought at first this was a wrong number...haven't answered as the calls come in while I'm at work. No messages have been left. Recvd calls from "Black, C" at 2:27pm on 5/27 and 2:37pm on 5/29.

I live in SC and have received calls from the same number...caller ID shows Devonium, Inc on the Coast.  I do not answer, let it go to the answering machine, of course they hang up with no message. Will have whistle in their ear next time they call if I decide to answer...only way to handle that kind!

I'm getting daily calls from this number that does not leave a message.  Calls at irritating times of day and early evening.  Wish it would stop!

CID says Black,C. No one on line when answered.
