- Ted| 1 replyRobotic female voice in nearly broken English saying "Hello. This call is officially a final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number, 803-514-3946. I repeat, 803-514-3946. Thank you."
I called back hoping to mess with 'em...? (Slow day here.) But I just got a busy signal.
But considering they're trying this scam at all, especially so close to the holidays, and they'll probably get some money out of unsuspecting and frantic seniors, my holiday wish is for whoever's involved in this scam to die a wonderfully, merry, ho-ho-horrible death. =)- Caller: S Carolina Call [as it comes up on Caller ID]
