Three rings and a hangup.  Glad I have call blocking on my iPhone.  That # will never ring this phone again.

I missed the call and called back after searcing and found out that it's a South Carolina number. I got a recorded message thanking me for calling and asked if I'd like to be placed on a do not call list to press 1 now. I hung up. Going into my "Spam" file. Maybe I'll have to check into call blocking for my droid.

I keep thinking I am missing calls when my phone is next to me. I received a call from this number on 3/7 at 9:42am. Because the phone didnt ring, I googled it and found this. I did not call it back. I take calls from all over the US for work but when its a no ring, I look it up.  I recently received an email from a client with a link and it started connecting me to something not work related and I stopped loading the page and deleted the email. I wonder if this is how they get numbers. I clicked the link from my phone and not the desktop.

These idiots know they are calling illegally and pissing people off! When you call the number back it automatically asks if you want to be placed on the do not call list. I still get calls after being added to the dont call list!

I received a link like that with my daughter's email in from line.  Someone had hacked her Yahoo account. Yahoo has locked me out of my account numerous times for putting in the CORRECT password and they allowed hacking to happen.  This is why I don't use Yahoo for anything important.

The hackers used all of my daughter's contacts to send a marketing link to them stating that it was from her.

I got the same message when I called back for a doctor.  If it wasn't computer generated they would stay away from doctors' offices.  May be a scam/ some telemarketing organization gathering working phone #'s.  If we call back, they know it's a good number.  Oh well now we can avoid it in our caller id.

I got the call from Google Listings who said it was about my business listing; I answered, pressed 1 to be connected and was connected to "Local Lighthouse" to a man named "Mike Mason" who said he was searching for my business listing to verify with me that he had the right information. After about 1 minute of dead air, like he was just listening to me breathe or something, he disconnected the call.
I gave him nothing, so I'm not exactly sure what he was phishing for.

This # has been calling my phone for many months now. In the beginning, I'd pick up, and it would hang up. I've never called the # back! but it is on my caller i.d. So I just let it ring. There are never any messages left. There are some real sickos out there. Guess they have a pretty boring life to be messing with people like this.

Calling to offer a "Free 1'st Page Google" listing but needs to verify my information. What irks me is that I am on the 1'st page of Google for my business so he then says that I qualify for a Free website?@)$*&%$

These telemarketer spammers are an ongoing problem and need to be dealt with accordingly...

Received several 'robo calls' from this company, although we are on the Do Not Call list.  I know these robo calls are against the law and carry a penalty of $16,000 to the offending company, so please report these people.  You can also file a complaint with the Do Not Call registry.

Just got this call and answered without thinking.
Some guy comes on and claims to be my "Internet Listing representative".  That's a good trick inasmuch as I don't have an "internet listing" service.

I simply replied "No you're not" and hung up.

These people are scum, pure and simple.  And..it begs the question:

Why would anyone do business with a company who's first contact with you is rooted in deception?

They're scammers trolling for information.

This number, along with several others, call me every day.  I have answered and found no one there.    Usually, the call does not go to my voice mail - they don't stay on long enough.  Have not tried to call it back.  Now that I know it is a scam, I will report this number to the Do Not Call Registry.  Certainly tired of this.  All of the illegal solicitors are from folks wanting to manage my web site.  This one is from SC, but others are from CA, WA, IL.  Very annoying.  Thanks to all that posted.  Good to know to avoid this number, too!

they call every day at 4:00 I picked up the first ones - now it's getting annoying

I keep getting calls from 803-563-6099 and have pressed the button to be on the do not call list and still get calls everyday while I am at work. I have done this several times and have even started ignoring the calls. My cell number is the one they are calling and it is on the do not call registry but yet I still get calls.

I talked to the guy and called him out on his BS voicemails- he hung up on me.

A recorded message from "John" claiming to be with Google Listings and urgently stating they need to speak with the business owner to verify your listing - that is about to lost - if you don't immediately "Press 1" to speak with their representative. They claim they have been trying to reach you urgently for the last several days and your listing is about to be lost. They also claim that they want to give you some form of a "free" website. They also allow you to "Press 2" if you wish to be removed from their list. Pressing 2 leads you to a female voice recording that gives you the same urgent pitch about your listing being lost if you don't immediately "Press 1." "She" tells you you can "Press 9" to be removed from the list. Pressing 9 disconnects you - and I suspect adds your number onto more lists! LoL! What a time wasting sham!
