Received a call from this number. Did answer because I did not recognize the number and they did not leave a message.

Another caller using a spoofed or unassigned number. Number is an unassigned Verizion cell #. This is about the 100th since 2/1/2015 from this number block.

I get one or two calls from this number every month.  If I answer, nobody says responds.  If I don't answer, there is never a message left on my voicemail. If I block this number, I start getting calls from an almost identical one.  If anyone ever discovers who is doing this and where they are, please post it.  I'd like to visit them. ;-)

This number calls my home at least four  times a week. Usually when I answer, there's no response, then a click.  Today it had a recording congratulating me for winning a free cruise to the Bahamas. I hung up and blocked the number  (again).  Most annoying.

They are using a VOIP program available on Google Play store for free. I've been able to trace them to Mumbai. After that the vanish. As long as the phone companies publish numbers in
blocks its easy for them to use unassigned numbers. I got one from my own cell a week or so ago.

Got a call from this number today.  I hung up after a pre-recorded message began saying, 'Congratulations, you have won...'  Click
I've reported it to the 'Do Not Call' site as a nuisance number.

@5:30pm on 3/26/2015, I received a call from 803-605-0857.  It is a pre-recorded message starting with "you have been selected" ...............that's when I hung up.
I've been on the 'Do Not Call' list for years and it worked well at first, not so much for the last couple years.

It came up here as s. carolina but how do you know "they" used that app or do you have something to see if thats really coming from where it says it is on ur phone. thanks for any info... john

received on about 5 minutes ago. answered it, no response just a click, I hung up. Call was identified as being from SC.  -really annoying....

Indian or Pakistani saying my computer is overloading the internet. He had my name and address and tried to convince me that he worked for "windows" and was my service representative. When I asked him how he came by my personal information he told me to hang up.

Didn't answer, no message.

Did not answer as number is obviously a scammer trying to catch real numbers on the receiving end.   For the benefit of readers - these characters can spoof (create) ANY form of caller ID for you to see including your own number and your own name.  I have had to block my own name and number due to this situation. If this number calls again I'll block it.  If they switch numbers I will block the entire area code thus nullifying any future attempts at calling my number.

It actually left me a partial voice mail - something about cruises, pre-recorded spam!

I got a voice mail from this number but it did not have the 803 are code. It sounded a zombie on the other end

got a call on my cell.  I think they go through and scrape phone numbers from business pages.  My business page is linked off of Barrysnow.com  so, they hit it and harvest phone and email and then try to "sell" some type of business "service" to me.
