Called me and then hung up

Called me, said they were Comcast and wanted to verify my information for a free service upgrade. I knew it was a scam because Comcast doesn't every give you anything for free, and when I said I'd do it another time they really pushed me to do it right then.

not a scam , lost $20 promo . and Comcast wont give it to me bc they are not associated with Comcast office.

803-610-4434 ( and had a plus in front of the 803, like it is an international call)

I dont answer unknown numbers/  hang-up calls, ever. Whoever this is has called me three times and failed to leave a message. Eventually they will get tired on calling and go away. No one legit fails to leave a message.   Screw the scammers-nobody home!

Still get calls from this number constantly, all times of day/night. Never leaves a message.

Called a few times, but left no voicemail.

Get unwanted calls from them as well. Refuse to answer. No voicemails either. No way Comcast would call at 730 am, either.

I've received 4 calls in the past week. They never leave a message. I never answer.

I received a call from this number today and they left a message on accident.  I could hear people speaking in the background.  The woman didn't exactly sound like a upscale citizen.

I think it is a Comcast Telemarketer calling to try and get you to "upgrade" your modem (for free) so they can turn your property into a public WI-FI hotspot at your expense.

They said they were from comcast an wanted to give a free upgrade.I I told them no an to have a bless day

Repeatedly receive calls from this number. Some have a + before the number. After reading these posts, I know this is just another scam. I already have my number on Do Not Call list. I am glad that I have a smart phone now because I put them on my Reject phone number list.

Unwanted robocall- line needs to be terminated

I get a call from this number everyday sometimes more than once . First of all any number from area code 803 is going to be a scam . They call from off shore most likely India using spoof numbers using google call . Comcast will not call as often using boiler tactics . If they did they would leave a message about your account . Block this and all 803 calls . If you pick up shame on you . A sucker is born every minute .

This is a scam from a spoofed number . Not Comcast using area code 803 . Be warned and be careful .

This number has been calling me for weeks at different times of day. They have not ever left a message. I will report this number.

Area code 803 is legitimate. I have real contacts from this area code.
