This harassing number keeps called and asking for the woman of the house then when I ask what the call is in regards to they quickly say, "No message, we will just call back later." Then quickly hangs up on me.

Solicitation for Fraternal Order of Police. They also call from 803-693-0753.  Scammers!

This number calls very often... listed as SC FOP Found, never leaves messages and although we've spoken directly to them, told them we were not interested AND we're on the do not call list (and told them so and to remove our number from their list) they still continue to call...  Someone needs to investigate.

Same thing guys says "don't worry you ar not in trouble (laughing) they have called everyday for 3 weeks.  They seemed to have changed their number, the number I have been getting is 803-693-0747.  I filled a complaint with https://www.donotcall.gov/ and I would advised everyone else to do the same.

CORRECTION it's an FOP SCAM designed to STEAL MONEY from honest people by pretending to help police.  

Hopefully most people have figured out what a scam you're running by now, judging from all the posts you're making on 800notes, looks like this site is working and you're having trouble STEALING enough money!

Someone keeps calling my number and won't give me time to answer.  The calls come from as early as 8AM to 9PM at night.  I have called the local police department to get an address.  Hope to hear from them real soon.  I'm on the DO NOT CALL list, but this hasn't helped.

I have received calls from this number for months not every day but maybe once a week and they dont never leave a message it must not be important.

This is FOP and they are scamming. The Police are LUCKY IF they see 10% of these funds!! Do NOT give to this organization. They are rude,and obnxious and they DO harass callers. They need to be stopped. These idiots need to be investigated they are an insult to honest police.

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there’s information on www.scfop.org  . Plus, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.
The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for South Carolina police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

@snow above as in....... snowjob.  I put a block on my phone and no longer deal with this bunch.  I made the mistake of donating a few years back and they have constantly hounded me since then about giving (that's what it is; it's not a donation to law enforcement) my hard earned money to them.  They are trained professionals at attempting to get into people's back pockets.  They will not take no for an answer.  Blocking the calls is the next best thing to giving them the bird. When groups like this parade aound as a charity, DNC list is useless.  Hit'em where it hurts the most.  Refuse to give these creeps your hard earned money!

As we all know when seeing a "FOP" etc is a little unnerving! Fortunately, I found a GREAT App for my cell phone that will "Lookup" any # you choose, as well as you can choose to BLOCK ALL INCOMING "UNAVAILABLE" or "UNKNOWN" #'SAND they auto BLOCK the TOP 10 #'s well known as "solititation" and/or "annoyance" / "nuisance" calls (whatever you want to call them, surely you know what I mean. Then, as calls come in, you can select any to block!!! (even your "annoying friends" HaHaHa just kidding!) really! This is a great app for cell phones ... As it ALSO ALLOWS YOU TO SIMPLY PRESS A BUTTON TO EASILY "FILE A COMPLAINT" against the NUMBER / COMPANY BEHIND IT !!! (NOTE: IN ORDER TO LEGITIMATELY "FILE A COMPLAINT" YOU (your #) MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY" ... (simple to do ... Someone above mentioned the web address to register there ... It is http:www.donotcall.gov and takes just a minute to register! Do it! I a.m. Not sure HOW this is actually used by these annoying "telemarketers" (BC the LIST would be "updated" on a (less than) daily basis! So therefore, they would have to print iT out or have an otherwise "system" in place prior to DIALING (?) I CAN ONLY "GUESS" that these companies (some, anyway, simply "take chances" on "who is going to" FILE A. COMPLAINT against them!?! I seriously hope there are HUGE FINES in place for the "violators" of this "DO NOT CALL" list ... In order to further "deter" calls. Anyone with a cell phone will have likely seen lately, that these "telemarketers" NOW, PLACE CALLS TO CELL PHONES! (UGH!) ok, anyway, just in case anyone is INTERESTED in the cell phone app (note it is free only for 30 days ... After that there is a small "subscription" FEE (WELL WORTH IT! In my opinion ... (u can see an "activity list" ... Of calls BLOCKED, YOUR "LIST", "COMPLAINTS FILED", ETC. (and, you also have the option to "UNBLOCK" any # - at any given time !!! THE APP IS:  "PRIVACY STAR" (if Nothing else, give it a "TRY" for the FREE 30 DAY TRIAL !  I WOULDN'T DO WITHOUT IT !!! As far as these "FOP" calls ... Now that I've seen you all having same "issues" and it gets me BC it is in SEVERAL STATES ... (I AM IN "SC") ... I WILL GO TO MY PRIVACY STAR APP AND IMMEDIATELY FILE A "COMPLAINT"! This number keeps showing up on my phone around 830am each morning . I believe it is the Fraternal Order of Police organization looking for donations. They where calling the home phone number for a while. It has become awfully annoying and i wish they could take a hint to quit calling this number. I am still trying to figure out how in the world they were able to get my cell phone number?? These pople are crazy if I am going to give any money towards drunken party for Policemen. I do know that many policemen friends this organization is a bunch of quote "Whoo Haw People who leech off of other people.
