- Rose in SCGot a call from this number at 8:30 on a Sunday night.
Didn't pick up.
Doing a reverse directory search, I found that it's an unpublished landline based in Clover, SC.- Caller: unknown
- MB IN SCReceiving calls from this number almost everyday. Says they are with the SPMBECIAL OLYMPICS.
- Carol CGetting calls from this number, returned call only to get a recorded message. Some Donation Services? I bet, people like this I would love to be able to reach my hand through the phone and shake the you know what out of them. Hours from 9am to 5pm, call came into my home at 6:10pm. think they are scammers! If I have not invited you to call my home I better not answer you will get more than a ear full. I fell I pay the phone bill, the phone is located in my home and you are trying to invade my home, I have a right to protect my home!

- JohnReceived a call on 8-8-10 at 8:51 pm, when i answered no one was there. Caller ID showed it was a call from Clover, SC. Must be a bunch of illiterate red necks from Clover that have nothing better to do on a Sunday night than to call random numbers and hang up.
- DAKOTADONOR SERVICES MAY BE A SCAM. IT IS A FUND RAISING COMPANY THAT FUND RAISES FOR ITS OWN PROFIT. A SMALL PERCENTAGE OF WHAT YOU DONATE ACTUALLY GOES TO THE CHARITY. IF YOU WANT TO GIVE TO A CHARITY, DO IT DIRECTLY. YOU DON'T NEED A MIDDLE MAN.
The code of ethics for professional fund raisers states that they can not fund raise based on a percentage. Scam companies always operate on a percentage. This is a no-no.
Professional fundraisers are the employee of the organization. Example: Vice Presidents of Development at colleges..
The Vice President of Dev. of a college would organize a group of alumni who would.....as volunteers......help to raise money for their college.
The national BBB has a philanthropic list of credible not-for-profits. If you doubt, call the national BBB and ask for the philanthropy div.- Caller: DONOR SERVICES

- LocalHeroI'm getting calls from them daily too. As a donor services co, do they have to abide by the "do not call" list? I'm certain I've answered them before and told them to put me on the list (as I do with all unwanted callers).
I agree with donating directly to an organization if you so desire. Most orgs have a website that you can look up and donate thru without incurring middle-man costs.- Caller: ???
- 803-810-0652| 1 replyKeep getting calls from this number and every time I answer, they hang up. Can you block the number someway?
- MuffyReceived call from 803-810-0652 in Feb 2011 in the afternoon. When asked, confirmed that he was a professional fundraiser in Arkansas soliciting for South Carolina Special Olympics located in Columbia, SC. DUH? Even if you are legititmate (and I use that loosely), why would you present yourself on CallerID with a South Carolina area code.
If you want to donate to Special Olympics, you can do it without going through these middlemen.- Caller: ???
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- Muffy replies to 803-810-0652Yes, get rid of your phone --- that oughta block it
- Rose in SCJust got a call from this number at 7:09 PM on Sunday, March 13.
From the previous comments, I see where this same number called me last March also.
So, yeah, Special Olympics must be doing their annual spring fundraiser again.
I actually picked up the phone this time (something I don't usually do for numbers I don't recognize) and they asked to speak to an "Ann Baker." Definitely not me, although there were Bakers who lived in this same house about 15 years ago.
Why do these people call on Sunday nights?
Isn't that against the law?
Or are non-profits exempt from that rule too?- Caller: Special Olympics
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- Jack DanielsMy phone used to show Clover, SC and they called the piss out of me a few months back. It is Special Olympics (my daughter answered one day when I wasn't here) and if you donate just ONCE, they will bug the piss out of you for another...FOREVER. I blocked the Clover number and have blocked the current number. One ring on my end, and they get a busy signal on theirs. I have a grandson and love children to death, but I am unemployed. THEY JUST DON'T GET IT. CALL SOMEONE WITH A DAMN JOB!!! WHAT PART OF THE ONE RING THEN A BUSY SIGNAL DO THEY NOT UNDERSTAND?

- Karen KruegerI work for a real estate company in Columbia, SC. We receive - AT THE VERY LEAST - 3 calls per business day. They ask for our broker in charge and if you ask for their name - they say they will call back - and of course they do!!!!!!!!!!!! If you say she is out of the office - they ask when will she return - you say would you like her voicemail - no - I will call back - when do you expect her? You hate to be rude to someone who you would like to think was doing something good like helping the special Olympics - they are relentless and to me - just harassing!
- Caller: Special Olympics
- Call type: Non-profit organization
