I received a phone call this evening from this phone number, but didn't get to the phone in time.  Tried to call it back, but, oddly enough, a message came up saying the number had been disconnected.  Weird! So, I have no idea who this was, but hopefully someone out there does.

Have gotten two this week, shows up as Bishopville SC. No one is there when I answer, did not call it back.

Saw several missed calls from this number last week (they called during the day while we were at work).  It does indeed show up on the Caller ID as simply "Bishopville, SC."  They called one evening last week while I was at home.  The lady said she was from Direct Buy and was not trying to sell me anything, but that my phone number "fortunately was selected to be entered in a drawing for a $50K home makeover."  I started to tell her that I was not interested, and when she began talking over me before I could finish my sentence, I spoke louder (over top of *her* voice) and told her to take my number off her list and not to call me again. I have heard enough about Direct Buy (whether you consider their buying club to be a scam or not is up to you) that I knew I did not want to hear any part of what she was offering.  So far no more calls have shown up on the Caller ID from Bishopville, SC.

It is Direct Buy saying that my phone number was automatically selected to be entered into a drawing for an Escalade, or $50,000...Also that participating in today's special offer I would be guaranteed a 3 night getaway...and then I hung up. I just wanted to stay on the line long enough to get the name of the company and listen to whatever nonsense they were spewing so I could be educated enough to deal with it if need be.

they call say you won keys to a brand new cadillac get your name address phone number and are you between ages of 25 and 35 if your single married never tell you where to go and hang up. then number is listed as not working.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone. It is a local number so I answered it. He congradulated me saying my number qualified to win a free cadilac. I hung up on him

I have received at least 4 calls from this number over the past week. I tried to return the call and said it was disconnected. Received another call today and I answered but did not say anything and they hung up. I tried immediately to call back- got a recording saying it was disconnected. This is creepy and I think I may report to the police.
