got the same call..did not leave any messages

Telephone number came up with Sales Dept.  Who is this?  Feel like I'm being stalked!!

I keep calling and asking to be removed but they keep hanging up on me.  It is driving me CRAZY

They are trying to get you to use them to lower your credit card fees. However, they tell you they work for your credit card company but when I asked what credit card it was in reference to they couldn't tell me. I told them I was on the do not call list but that doesn't matter to these jerks.

If you press 3...they say they will remove you from their calling list

But they don't remove you. I have tried to talk with them. They hang up on me. I have cajoled, threatened, etc. nothing helps.  I really am being stalked by them.

I live in IL how many other states are they calling?

They say, This is your credit card company. Now there are no problems with your account right now, but you must call us immediately so that we can lower you interest rates as low as 6%.  This is your last chance. So please call or press one to speak with someone right now.

I keep getting calls to my cell phone from this number. My cell is based out of San Diego. It's been happening for about a week. I haven't picked this call up yet, and by the looks of these posts, I'm glad I haven't.

What are the consequences to companies that call even if you're on the 'no call' list? Or, what checks and balances are in place so if you request removal from the call list, it's actually done? I'm inspired to research. If I do and I find out, I will repost here..

New #, same old scam. I've reported these jerk@&^%* several times from their previous number to the National Do Not Call Registry. Apparently they just pack up & move to a different number. But I'm gonna keep on reporting them, as there's nothing else I can do.

Called again (first time today, but far from the first time)

Ok try this .....i called the number back and it repeats your phone number and says if this is the number you want remove press 1 so I did that and it said my number would be removed lets see if it works!!! Good Luck

Just another junk caller trying to scam you.

I live in Wisconsin and these people just called me.  They claim that I needed to extend my car warranty as well as needed a parts recall.  I have a Toyota but they did not say what company or organization they were. They just patched me into an automated message where I could choose the number associated with what services I need.  I hung up.  I hate jerks like this!

The same caller as last week this time is was to lower my CC to 6% LMAO. I have none so I played their game talked with a rep and when he asked my how I pay on my CC's I told him I do not pay on my cards and snickered at him. He then ask what card I am using and my reply was Mister you are so good you tell me what card I am using. His reply was the credit card between your mothers XXXXX and hung up on me.

Awesome! I just got a call from them at my work line and was googling the number as soon as it came up.  If I weren't at work, I would have played along like that!

Debra, Post back if it works!  I'm tired of getting junk calls at work.

This number has been calling relentlessly since I registered on the DoNotCall list.  Would you believe at least 11 calls in the last two days. I guess they're thinking, "I only have x more days to try this number, so I'd better try very hard. These calls have been about credit card debt consolidation. They don't leave messages, and they got mad after I turned my machine off and started looking at the caller ID. I heard someone make a snide remark over the speaker phone even though answering was off. That was the last call they made (at about 6:30 PM CT). On the other hand, they might have only quit for the day. Try it; maybe it will work for you, too,

got a call from 804-234-9010 and reported them to donotcall.gov.

After a couple of calls per week, I have decided to press "1" and wait for someone to come on the line and toy with them.  Of course, they never mention the company name.  I act stupid for a while, I make them repeat their script more than once. I tell them that I think it's a scam, and of course they have another script for that. I then explain that I just wanted to waste their time since they are bothering me with unsolicited phone calls.  

It's pretty funny to hear the telemarketer say "Well, why didn't you say you weren't interested?  People get phone calls all the time."  I figure if I keep wasting their time they will stop calling.
