Got a call re: free cruise....have not registered for anything. Had Asian Indian accent. Do they not follow the non calling rules...

got a call just now.... how foolish do they think v r???!

Called me as well.  Did not answer.  States the area code is registered to Virginia.

Free Cruise? They don't leave a company name and the lady just says her name is Nancy.

I also got a phone call but did not recognize the number so I did not answer it.  I am registred on the do not call list so I would like it the law changed so that the call has to pay my phone bill for any charges I would recieve for the call.

I didn't bother to answer. No voice mail was left.

I didn't answer.  The voicemail the woman left sounded like the tail end of spiel about a free cruise.

They called saying I won a cruise because I registered for some sweepstake, then an operator came on and asked my name and I said" you should know didn't u call me and if I registered shouldn't u have my name? " They hung up the phone... It was a black dude on the phone... But the machine recording sounded asia... Don't fall for it this is a scam.. I called back had them remove my name off their list...

I got this call today around 2:50 p.m., I rejected the call but have received two other calls today from unknown numbers and no messages left.  I too am on the no call list but it seems that since I added my number to that list I have received two to three calls per day.  It is getting really annoying and I wish the calls would stop.

I won a cruise! but it appears that everyone in the U.S. with a telephone also won this cruise.  They're going to need a big ship!

Called number back and got recording to remove from list.

Received a call, but didnt' answer.  I tried calling back, but it was an answering machine.

It's simple. It's scam artists trying to get info from you. Just hang up on them OR start cussing them out and scare the hell out of them. They will get the point :)

Called and didn't leave a message.  Called last week with a jacked up recording. How can we make our phone companies charge them??

The company's name was Cruise and Land Promotions. Got the call and they said I won a cruise. 4d/ 3n to Bahamas out of Miami or Port Canaveral OR 5d/4n out of New Orleans. Choice of Carnaval, Royal Carribean or Norwegian cruise lines. Min 2 people up to 16 people. $93/ person taxes. $92/person over 21 port charges. Gratuities $10/day/person over 21. Pay for gambling and alcoholic beverages also. All food, non-alcoholic beverage, activities, shows/entertainment and of course the room are included. They wanted a minimum of the taxes for 2 people ($186) to use cruise within 18 months. 60 day notice for booking cruise. Can add up to 14 people later at those prices. ($93/person). Port charges and gratuities at ship. (under 21 doesn't pay gratuities or port charges)
They got my husbands name from either from a sign up or from booking travel through Travelocity, Priceline or some other travel site. Did use Priceline a couple times in past year.
Sales person was southern girl , Lissette @ 877-862-9619 x553.
Web site is cruiseandlandpromotions.com. Checked web and phone number with BBB with no results/ no reports.
I actually would have liked to have taken a cruise, but hubby doesn't want to spend money. I guess the cruise lines are trying anything to get bookings in this economy.

Got a call from 804-234-9105   looked it up... from Virginia... did not ans.. from what I see on here.. I guess I was a cruise.. oh well...not today..... scam I am sure.
