Recd a call.  No msg.

Telemarketers soliciting 'donations' for the National Police Association. I put the word 'donations' in quotes because they are *not* a 101(c)(3) and therefore donations are not tax-deductible. Only 101(c)(3) charities tend to be legitimate.

Got a call tonight per my caller ID but no message.

CID showed 'Out of Area' and this ph #. Hung up after 3 rings and left no message. Interestingly, the area code (804) is for Richmond, which is the capital of Virginia, plus the surrounding area.

@ sydbarrett  You have the CODE section wrong its 501C (3)  not 101 C (3)

Got a call from the number 804 293 4008. While a local number, is showed as out of area. A clear American voice asked if they were speaking to me (used my name) and hung up.  I tried to call back, but there was just silence. So, someone was able to confirm the tel number belongs to me. Guess I need to be on the look out for a scam. Great!!!

Got call about 2 pm today. Did not answer and no message was left. 804-293-4008 is local  number but caller id tagged it as out of area. I no longer answer calls from unknown numbers . Legitimate  callers would leave a message. . There are too many scammers calling.
