Leaves a threatening message about lawsuits being filed and the sheriff coming to arrest if no call back. At the end of the message the caller (female) says "If you don't call, then all I can do is wish you good luck". then line abruptly cuts off.

That caller is full of it-debt is CIVIL not criminal.

While the call definitely got my heart rate going for a second, everything about the message is a scam.

I just got the exact same message!!  Obviously it's a fraud, but it made me feel better that someone else got the same thing.

I got the same thing who's doing this and why? Said she was officer Kim Reagan with the I.r.s.

Also got this silly call! We had a good laugh, we live in a small town and know our sheriff!

Got this call said they was the IRS . Said I would go to jail if I did not call back . I called back  and the picked up Agent ???? from IRS how may I help you . Would not give them no info so they said Sir you will end up in  jail have a good day

I received the same call several times.  What can we do to stop this?

Both my wife and I have received phone calls from this and a number of other spoofed phone numbers from their dialer.  Called back on three different numbers each answered by an Indian or Pakistani accent stating they were from the IRS and wanted to confirm our identity and that we had pending legal action from the IRS and to send them money to stop the action.  If you have nothing better to do call them back and have some fun...they love it when you waste their time ;)

Looks like the new scam of the week.   I saw this number but I only answer known phone numbers or those who properly identify themselves. on caller ID.   This one just has "Warsaw, VA" as a location, which could be a lie as well.   After reading other comments here, I'm tempted to pick up next time and curse them out.

Yup--lol, I just got one of them also--same message. Then when you try call the number back, you get an automated message: ''The person you are calling has declined your call''--lolol, somethng to that affect. Lolol, ''Oh mamm, more dam scam''--so to say--lolol.

Lolol, yup, I just got one them same call's, but our town so small, we can't afford a sheriff so we just all belong to NRA and --lolol--''Stick to our gun's'' so bring it on ''scammer'', we all a wait'n fer ya bub--lolol. !!!  We ain't got no jail, but where we put you, you'll be wishin we had a jail instead--lolol.

Hello JC: One thing can try is sign up on the donotcall.com list, it's free. You can enter up to 3 different phone number's and it's government run I do believe and it's supposed to stop  ''nuisance'' phone call's like telemarketer's, sale's ad's, etc. etc. Hopefully it will work for this blasted scammer nuisance character..

I just got this call from 804-313-6940 at 11:47 am. It was a computerized voice telling me that I would be arrested blah! blah! blah!. I have an unlisted landline, have put all our numbers on the do not call list and updated that as you have to update, and live in area code 760. I have read all other comments. Would have a much more peaceful day if robo calls would stop calling my home and making me get up from what I am doing to answer the stupid phone. Just Done!!

I got the same call...so disturbing.  I immediately went to check it out on-line.  Thanks to everyone who posted.

Scam call. The IRS will NEVER call you to send them money. They only work through the mail and then courts.

Got this message You will be charged with 5 counts if I don't call back. When I called back the mailbox was full

I also just got this call and as I don't answer unknown calls, let the machine get it. The message was very mechanical and as they were giving me the number to call to help "keep me out of jail" they cut off and hung up. I went right to the computer and was glad to see others with the same issue. Not sure who this is, or who they think they are fooling, but I'm not calling them back. Go ahead....get the sheriff! (I am on the do not call list)
