This # called a bunch of time recently without leaving a message. It is now blocked!

This is 3 days in a row with a call from this #, and 2 times today, on a Sunday. they have called before. No name, only phone #shows up.  On DNC lists, can't believe the number of calls coming in this year, as IRS scams, travel scams, solicitations.  I know alot of these must be robot calls, but when repeated off and on for months???  Something is terribly wrong.

Many posters in 800notes claim the Federal Do Not Call List (DNCL) is not working for them.  We constantly attempt to find a way to explain what the DNCL really does, at a level these posters can understand.

Why doesn't the DNCL stop the other calls?

• Charities, political calls, and non-sales calls are exempt.
• "Business relationships" may be exempt.
• Criminals do not obey the laws, and happily ignore the DNCL.
