I got a call and voice mail from this number regarding a federal magistrate appearance. The message indicated that this was the third attemp at reaching me. I am not sure what kind of scam this in now.

Just got a voice message from this number.  It was a recording (partly clipped off at the beginning) of an automated voice, saying something about a federal agent assigned to my case(!?).  I was instructed to call back to get my case number.

Most likely IRS scam.  Ignore and block the calls.  No legitimate government agency will call you about a court appearance.  Phone calls are not legal notice of anything.

Scam.  Don't return the call.  Most likely IRS scam.  Originating in India and Pakistan. Block the calls and ignore them.

I called back and they are for sure c=scammers and hung up when I said they are criminals--they claimed to be IRS but when I asked who they were trying to reach as several people at this address they had nothing to say

They called again today, but with a different message.  Again, automated voice that started before my voicemail began recording, so clipped off a little bit at the beginning...  This time I was told that the sheriff was going to arrest me on 5 felony counts, unless I called them back right away.  Most hilarious was at the end when they said "If you don't call this number, the only thing I can do is wish you good luck!"   HA!  Dead give away.  TOTAL SCAM BS.

Received the same call. Automated garbage about final call. Then after brief silence, another automated voice said transferring your call to the IRS. BS scam!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I just a call from this phone number saying that for the last two years I have been filing my taxes wrong and the sheriff's department will be coming tonmy house to serve me.  I not sure what this is all about.  I called and twice was hung up on then a man with a heavy accent was trying to explain why they were calling.  I could not understand nothing he was saying.

Left a message saying I am involved in a federal investigation and in trouble. Lol.

Got a voice mail saying this was the third and last call from IRS; sending to magistrate.
Called the number they said to call;  got an Indian accent; sounded official but had to "look up my records".
Put me on hold; I searched the number and found these entries....hung up; and blocked the number.

I received an similar automatic message regarding something about Federal Issue and call number immediately.  I called the number back and someone answered the phone saying, This is Michael.  I thought that was weird and asked who they were and in heavily Indian accent I made out one word Federal something and I said if this was the Government, then why didn't they answer the phone as such.  He then mumbled something and hung up on me.

I got this same call to-day. I called the number back they told me to call. Got a guy with an India type accent, knew right off then it was a scam! Told the guy to come and get my [***] and take me to jail cause I don't care! He didn't know what to say to that so I hung up the phone! number to call back was 804-419-4244 so you all be on the look out for this SCAM!!!

I have gotten the same call from this number claiming to be the IRS 1 804-419-0365. So I asked him if this is Phong he said yes I said Phong Yu he hung uo

Got a call this morning from this number.  The caller identified himself as Steven Casey (sp?), IRS agent badge # C 605432.  Spoke with an Indian accent so I asked him if he was from India.  He said he was from Bangladesh and that he had been living in the US since 2007.  When I asked if Casey was a common Bangladeshi name, he said that his original name was Abdul Raheem Magee, and that he had changed it to Steven Casey.  He then proceeded to let me know that there was a lawsuit being filed against me and that I should provide him with my attorney's information.  When I refused, he said I would be receiving a call from the local sheriff's office within the next hour with a non-bailable warrant for my arrest.  I said, "Fine," and hung up.

Funny. He told me his name was Steven White. That I was being sued and that I need to call the IRS. I have been getting calls from this same man every day at least three times a day. He is of India decent.  He could have done better than that as far as his name. Actually, the IRS does not involve themselves in those type of activities. He has been blocked from my cell.

I got a call from this number also, left a message and the man sounded recorded and also had some sort of accent.  Said it was time sensitive and that I was being sued by the IRS.
