So I called back because the woman that left me a message was beyond rude.  I was calling her back to never call me again and someone else picked up.  I asked what company this was and she refused to answer.  She kept wanting me to give her my number is just hung up on her.

I got a call from this number and was told to call the same number back and that it was very important that I take part in their survey.

The recording also said to call them back if the call had reached me in error so my number could be removed.  Sounds like a scam to me.  I didn't call back.

Person said they had important information and wanted me to hear about it before going further. Name was Amber Knight. Called back, no answer. Told them the message made no sense.

I got a call today from the number. same message about they processed some papers etc.....this time they used a voice machine to say my name

I as well got a phone call yesterday from a Amber Knight about important issues that i needed to address and possibly provide a statement before going any further. Glad to know its just a scam

A women named Amber called my house two times using this number saying that she has unfinished paperwork regarding a request by me, I deleted the call both times as my number is unlisted and only my family have my number..sounds like they are fishing for information!

I got a call from this number sometime Friday before I got home and a man left a message letting me know that "my" paperwork just came accross his desk and that it was important for me to call him back to provide some information so that I could have "some input on the matter". He also asked that if I was not the person he was looking for that I call him back to let him know.  He didn't have my name, his message was for someone else - with the same last name!  But I don't know the person he was looking for... Strange.  I debated whether or not to call him back, as the subject matter *sounded* like it was important, but decided not to because, to be perfectly honest, he didn't really sound like he had a high level of education & didn't seem very professional. It seemed English was his primary \ only language, but his speach seemed rigid - like he was reading from a script, and doing so quickly... Imagine a person cold calling numbers and then once getting to the point where they leave a voice mail, reading the script as quickly as possible so they can get off that call & on to the next one. This is exactly what it sounded like to me.  No Company name was given, and no real information on the issue at hand; just the generic "paper work" of some importaance was mentioned.  No, I shall not be calling back, and ope that I never hear from them again.

Caller calls everyday at the same time for the past 3 days, leaves the same exact voicemail word for word. Doesnt say who they are calling for but says something about recent changes and other crap. This phone number is a cell number that they call from.

This is obviously a debt collector, people!  They always use the same terminology.  It might be YOUR debt, it might be a relative's, it might be someone who has absolutely no connection with you.  Ignore the calls bc even if you answer and tell them they have the wrong number, they don't believe you and will keep calling.  Ignore Ignore Ignore - eventually they give up.  If you DO have a debt you're behind on, call THAT company and make arrangements - in this economy they're glad to get ANY payment!  Don't give these rat b******* ANY info!!

This is a telemarketing firm.  Don't answer the call and don't share any information with them.  Keep a log of how many times they call and what time they call.  If the person leaves a name, record it as well, but keep in mind that collection agency employees use fake names.  They also pay companies in other states switch their phone numbers, so it may look like they are calling from one location, when they really aren't.  If you are being harassed by a collection agency, take control of the situation and fight back.

Sorry guys about the above post, I meant to say that it "isn't" a telemarketing firm and that it is a collection agency.

these call are annoying, so spread the word annoy them back.
we all know there is a lot of scams on craigslist, and i hate adding to the pile. But these people annoy me more. So what everyone should start doing is post a false ads on craiglist for something everyone would want for cheap. EX an ipad; then post the telemarketers number on the ad. And help blow up their phone lines with spam.

I owe money and am behind, but when you call that number it just rings and rings an no on ever picks up.  The wording sounds so legal that it should be a law for them to give more information about what they are calling about and not try to intimidate people.  I thought it had something to do with my father-n-law's estae since I'm waiting on calls from the attorney's office.  Good thing I went online to search and found this.  I for one do not pass out information over the phone so they'll have to send me info to the address they have on file cause I don't give that either.

or call them back and keep pressing buttons, apparently they dont like to be annoyed, they only like to annoy you, loool.

This so called company left a message yesterday about paperwork coming across their desk.  They leave no company name and the person's name, I am sure, is phony.  I have had people calling my house for years asking for someone with my last name but the first name is no one I know.  They are scammers trying to find a needle in a haystack.  Don't waste your time calling them back.  They will just try to get information from you that is none of their business! oh and this number is a cell phone.
