- Notstupid| 1 replyCaller said I was being investigated for tax fraud/evasion and before they issued an arrest warrant to call them back. Heavily accented male voice left voicemail.
- Caller: (Inaudible)
- It's all a scam replies to NotstupidWhen it arrives from Asia (because that's where your criminal is calling from) can I have the stamp? However I doubt they'll waste the rupee's to send it. Perhaps we can send them some gently used Charmin?
- Seems like a scamReceived two phone calls from these people with heavily accented voices asking to speak to someone who has passed away. Hung up abruptly both times.
- Fed upCalled two time and left vms. Same accented Indian/Arab/African all the same. Telling me I need to call back bc of tax evasion or they will go to the courts and issue an arrest warrant. Lol just hope these [***] stop calling what a joke. I just wish I knew where this guy slept at night.
- tacomagirlcalled here twice threatening to report me for tax evasion! and to not disregard this call. The caller spoke with a heavy accent. Reverse phone lookup says it is from Richmond, Virginia.
- KensingtonCall stating that I owed taxes and that a warrant was being issued for my arrest. I've had no communication from the IRS describing any problems. I sent them a text suggesting that they pay their taxes.
- Caller: Unidentified
- really???this just pisses me off that we continue to receive calls like this. as above this heavily accented male voice threatened me with court action and arrest for tax evasion if I didn't return the call. I was at work and called on our long distance line...goes to voice mail. looked up the number and it originates in Richmond, VA, zip code of 23219, and located on N. 7th street, cross street E. Marshall. satellite pic looks like a warehouse district.
- San FranciscanI received the same call. It is a scam. Please be careful.
- ER nurse| 3 repliesRecieved same phone call from 804-461-3497. Reports that they received a call about tax evasion and tax fraud. The speaker had a very thick Chinese/Asian accent and demanded I call back before they take me to court. This message was left on 12-16-2014

RS does not file lawsuits. Tax disputes are civil matters. 90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively. IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job. IRS does not cold call anyone and all contacts are initiated by US mail. - GerrySame as above. The message says they are with the IRS and if I did not call that they would take legal action including
arresting by law enforcement. I knew this was a scam so I did not call back.- Caller: IRS
- Andre| 1 replyI received this call today. Initially scared the [***] out of me, but after speaking with my accountant, realize its all BS.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. - CindyCall came in from 804-461-3497 Richmond, VA
Message on machine was a foreign (India) man;
”This is the tax Audit Department of IRS. The nature and purpose of this call is to inform you that we receive a legal complaint against your name, a legal notice against your name concerning a tax fraud and concerning a tax evasion on your name. So finally before we take this matter to the court house and before we issue a warrant for your arrest, kindly call us back at this number 804-461-3497 (he repeats number). Don’t disregard this message and do return the call as soon as possible. Have a great day. Bye Bye.”
When we called the number back it went to a full voicemail box.
We did call the IRS, it is a scam. They said some people are going and getting the prepaid visa cards to pay these people.
The IRS also said to type in comments even if it is the same as other peoples complaint so everyone knows it is a scam and not to send money. They would notify someone with a registered letter, no phone calls. - safjwgot a call to voice mail, foreign accent, arrest warrant issued for IRS . . . etc. crazy, stupid.
