Says Richmond VA on Caller ID, didn't leave number, I tend to think these are calls from the same co (I get some from collection places looking for people who don't live here and I tell them that, if they ask for anyone) and they put a fake numbver on to trick people.

call about 2 hours ago, didn't answer so sick of these unknown calls. what the hell good is the national do not call for.

I received a call from this number, no message, I called it back and it said "Please leave a message for *beep* this mailbox is full, please try again later." No mention of a company name, just an automated voicemail.  GRRRRR

same old robo call wanting to reduce my credit card rates

I answered the call. It is from Card member Services. I have asked so many times to be put on there do not call list but they change their number. I report them to FCC every time but it makes no difference.

Called on October 30, 2013, at 12:06 P.M. CT; didn't answer, received no message.

Robo call regarding the reduction of credit card debt, which I don't have, on my home answering machine. Add this to numerous other unwanted calls and you have an annoying situation which is out of control.

Asked to be placed on no-call list, and the operator replied, "well that's never gonna happen, so you just need to get over it" and hung up.

Same happened to me.

Got a call from 804-554-6347. Offered lower credit card rates. When asked to put on on-call list, they hung up on me.

Its a little more ominous than "would you like to reduce your credit card rates."  It says "this is your final call from Cardmember Services."  Of course, I wish it were the final call.  That's just a tease.

Harrasment calls from 804-554-6347 and from other blocked numbers started immediately after I threatened to file charges against a woman who was turning her dogs loose to attack people going past her property. She lived at 140 Sunfish in Highland. All of the calls have no one on the line or hang up when the calls are answered. Typically these calls occur once or twice per day during normal weekday working hours. Call back identified one of the callers as Thompson Research Group while others would not be identified. I stongly suspect this person works for the company responsible for the harrasment since I had no calls with no one on the line before this started. Latest call today at  10:30 AM, 31 Oct 2013. Two calls yesterday of the same nature. Multiple calls in the previous couple weeks.

Don't take it personally. The calls you received aren't even from a company. They're robo calls to numbers selected at random by a machine. The machine calls dozens of numbers simultaneously and the scammers talk to whoever answers first. The rest of the people get dead air. There are hundreds of scammers operating the same way all across the country. The intent is not harassment. The intent is theft through selling fake goods and services, identity theft, bogus contracts and so on.

Thanks to everyone for putting this online so that I know this call (October 31, 2013 at 3:22 p.m., PDT, is likely bogus telemarketing.

No msg. Will block on my Panasonic. Hopefully it will get on the NOMOROBO.com list.

just told them to go die. just went thru this scam with one to see how much they knew and it was too much! called my 2 cc and had my card info changed completely. less then 2 months later they call again. I wont call my ccards this time- but I am reporting them since Im home sick, bored and have nothing but time. HORRIBLE scam and I sincerely hope anyone involved in calling folks dies slowly and painfully.
