I recevied a threating phone call saying they were from the DEA and I could spend 20 years in prison, that they were a narcotic unit division 78 and they had intercepted drugs being sent to my address and if I paid them them 1800 dollars they would drop the charges.  Other wise I would have to go to court and they gave me a court date and said I would louse in court and go to prison.

I too received a threatning telephone call from this number and they told me that they were with the DEA a Detective Ryan and I also was contacted by his coworker or coconspiritor Supposedly Detective Allen Smith.  I was told they had intercepted adipex, Which I never ordered  as I didn't even know what it was.  Det. Ryan told me that there was a indictment for me and a home search.  They told me if I would cooperate that they could get the indictment dismissed if I would pay $4400.00
First I was told I was to call them as soon as I got the money and it had to be that day!  Then when I got the money to call the cell number.  I forget where I put it right now, but I still have it somewhere. I was so tore up.  I have had breast cancer, suffer from depression and extreme anxiety and panic attacks so I definately didn't need this.  Well, the one that called himself Det. Allen Smith told me there wasn't time to take it to the PA that I was to go to a Quick and Pay Cash place and send it by
Western Union, and he told me what kind of form to use and not to tell them why I was sending it just that it was personal: He began to ask me why it was so quiet in the checking place and other silly questions so my husband told the ladies' what was going on and they said it was a scam to hang up. I was so upset I called 911 and told them what it was and what I had ordered.  Then they put me in contact with my local sheriff dept. and I told them.  The only thing I don't understand is why my local dispatch took down my height, weight, eye color, hair color, social security, my address, my home phone and cell phone number.  All I know is I am still upset over it and I was almost out $4400.00. Plus these people wanted me to send the wired money to The Dominican Republica. I haven't heard from them since.  Thank God.  So please beware of people acting like DEA agents or any other kind of people that call and threaten You like this as The DEA, nor the Police do things in this manner.

I too got a call from this same number and was told the similiar thing but they wanted $4400.00
I almost sent it to them, even though I never ordered the drug they claimed I did that they
supposedly intercepted.  I am still tore up over it. I'm 53 year old and have gone through breast cancer and deal with severe anxiety and depression and I sure didn't need this kindn of mental abuse this person caused me.  I'm sorry it happened to you.  People like this should be prosecuted for pretending to be a Federal agent.

I got a call at my work from person who said that he was special agent Mark Ryan from DEA and to call back immediately at 804-554-9579 ext 111.

Don't worry about these calls. This is a scam. Whatever you do, DO NOT SEND THEM ANYTHING. Report this phone number to your local law enforcement. Trust me, these guys are crooks! Just tell them to stick it and if they call you again, report them to law enforcement  for harassment.

They are very threatening and harsh. I had nightmares, someone needs to do something about these scams!

Some man calling himself "Mr. Torres" left a message on my work phone..  Have no idea how they got my #, but I'm supposed to call them back.  Yeah, sure after reading this stuff.  Scared me at first, wondering what in the world was going on.  This should be against the law.

Have been getting these calls for the last 2 years.  Pray no one falls for it. He calls himself Mr Martinez.

Caller said he was an agent with the Drug Enforcement Admin.and
my name had come up in connection with a criminal investigation
and I should call back immediately.Call went into voicemail.I never called
back and I did not receive any more calls
