I keep getting calls from 804-952-9950 and when I answer thewre is no one there.  I guess they expect me to call them back so they can save on the long distance charge.  They needd to stop calling me!

Call me several times a day, never leave a message. I call back and it's usually busy but today I got a person. Sounds like he said RPM or IPM when he answered. He spoke very fast, I just hung up on him.

Called the prepaid cell phone again. Nope, I'm not going to answer unknown numbers. And if you're a bill collector, you've got the wrong number anyway. I have not given this number out, so no one has it.

I called them back after a couple of calls where they didnt leave a message. RPM answered and i told hem i was receiving calls from them. They asked for my number, told me who they were looking for. I explained this wasnt their number anymore. And he removed it from the list. Easy.

After 7 years telling them that I am not Blankenship Alba (?) they continue to call. Now worse than ever. Registering phone number with "do-not- call" list only made things worse. Explaining I am not this person will remove the name from a short period, sure. -- Only they come back with a vengeance.

Getting the same thing.  Download a free phone app called Mr. Phone (or others) and you can block the number all together.  The "Do Not Call List" does not apply to collectors...only solicitors.  You can send them a letter to cease and decist under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and then sue them if they don't stop calling. Of course you need their address for that.

These calls from RPM are a real PITA.  They never leave a voice mail, and their number has always been busy when I try to call back. But Google is my friend, so I found another way to contact them.  You can leave a dispute report at the Receivables Performance Management web site:

    http://www.receivablesperformance.com/ContactToDispute.html

I also suggest that we begin deluging the FTC with complaints about this outfit - they are not following the rules for debt collection agencies.

RPM is a junk collector folks, they buy junk debts and then they try to collect with thousand of phone calls and harassing letters until you give up!
Legally speaking they can not collect, because the Statute of Limitations has expired.

They have been repeatedly calling for several days. No reason for them to call me, I believe they are trying to reach one of my sons, but when no one is on the line when the phone is answered, what do they hope to accomplish? I tried calling back, but only got a busy signal. Thank you to the one above who gave the link for contacting them. I have done so and insisted that they remove my number from their call list. We'll see.

Keep calling trying to collect a cell phone bill that was disputed, as I would never call a sex line, never as I am a mom and a lady, and my phone was with me, and no one in my home called it either. SOMEBODY billed it to my number in 2003. They are S.O.L. if they think I am paying for some pervert's calls! T-Mobile SUCKS. They know i didn't, wouldn't, couldn't do that! I was at work or at home. WHY would I call women anyway? I AM a woman!

I missed the first call, and returned it. When he picked up, he said, "Thanks for holding, this is [unintelligible]." I said, "Actually, I wasn't holding, I was returning a call." He hung up, and called again a few hours later. I missed it again, though...cuz I was at WORK. ;)

My 10-year old son apparently was assigned the number of a person who owes a lot of debt, because his phone is getting these calls constantly. I had one of these bottom-feeders harrassing me last year, calling dozens of times per day at all hours. The way to make them stop is to notify your state's Attorney General. As soon as I filed a complaint, they stopped suddenly and never called again, and I got a copy of their sniveling letter to the AG.

I could try a "cease and desist" letter but that would only work if these lowlives actually follow the laws. They choose not to believe when honest people tell them that they are not the ones they are looking for, or that they are calling the phone of a 10-year old child who never had a debt.
