On line yellow pages....just hang up

They call 10x a day, never leave a message and just hang up. Solicitors should NOT be allowed to call business lines either; especially small businesses. No one picks up the phone anymore because it's just solicitors calling. GO AWAY!!!

No-one there on the other end, repeated calls.

The dimwits are calling and waking me up and have called 3 times today already and it's NOT even noon yet, and there is no one there.. My number is blocked so they are Violating the Law, whoever they are.

Keep getting calls from this number at my work and they say they are the On-Line Yellow Pages and we
tell them to stop calling take our number off their list but they keep calling back.
Someone do something!!!!!  They don't understand the word NO!!!!

Then on the 3rd call.   she said "this is stacey from yellow pages confirming this was edward jones"
when I said yes, she hang up on me.   this better not be a toner scam.   I better not get a bunch of toner in the next few days.

on line yellow pages.  Wanting to verify our 'free listing'.    I play along...saying correct  (never yes)...then he has to transfer to me to his 'supervisor' for quality control purposes.    Total BS

unless you want to have fun with them I suggest just hanging up.

This is more likely an overseas call center routed through a Richmond area number.  None of them speak English, and they are relentless no matter how many times you tell them "NO" and "STOP CALLING OR I WILL REPORT YOU TO THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY."  They don't care..

I suggest yelling at them that you didn't order the curry sauce and hanging up.

Same as everyone else. Pushy Indian call center. I've been nice, I've been rude, I've hung up on them. Now I've resorted to using a Fred Rogers soundboard when they call. Google translate will let you speak them in Hindi in an automated voice. It's a waste of time, but I get a laugh out of it.

We've repeatedly told the Yellow Pages people that we don't want to be listed.  When this number calls it's dead air and no one picks up.  It's making us crazy. We want to be taken off their list completely!

Basically they are a scam. They ask you to verify some information. You may think that you have lost nothing since you did not give them credit card information. But they charge you through you telephone company bill. This is a scam that is enabled by the telephone company. You can call your telephone company to stop such payments.

Also if you get dead air, tap the microphone of your phone and wait a second or so.

They best way I found to stop them for a while is to ask them a lot of questions. Like what is their website address. They will hang up on you.

Here is another suggestion. Since this is a fake yellow pages, just tell them the company is closed.

Same deal, online yellow pages.  They are working off information that is at least 5 years old, want to update my free listing.  Told them three days ago that I didn't want the listing and not to call back, and I've gotten 4 calls from the same number so far since then - and each time they hung up before I could answer it.

Called said he was calling about a yellow pages offer.

804-993-0196 On-Line Yellow Pages calls 5 times a day, sometimes after 10:00pm eastern standard time. Wants to sell me special listings on their website, and when I say no, they just keep talking with that really hard to understand Asian India accents. I have asked them three times to stop calling me and take me off their list, but they just call the next day and the day after and so on so forth. I have filed complaints on www.donotcall.gov but they don;t seem to want to do anything about it. There is not other place to turn but this website, and others like it.

"Ditto" all the msgs above, gonna just hang up on them.

Let's all get air horns and blow their ear drums out.
