We have been receiving daily calls from this number. They leave no message and continue to call.  Must be a telemarketer or machine dialed.

These calls from 1 800 253 2287 just keep on coming.  Thank you phone caller I D...They never leave a message.  The only way I know that they are a scam is by looking the number up.  The complaints are all the same.  Constant calling and no message.

Got a call, they asked if (My Legal Name) was there and i said yes they hung up. Very weird called back and was told google voice subscriber was not available at this time. So don't know.

Called us twice.  The first time my husband answered and they just hung up.  The second time, they asked for him and I told him he wasn't home and they hung up.  Would not leave a message.  We called back and the message said the subscriber was not available.  Maybe they're going through the phone book to see if anyone is home.

805-253-2287 - called me several times, no message.  Upon recall, "voice subscriber was not available at this time."  I texted it stated "STOP"

Someone called me from (805)253-2287, and asked for me. Could not understand anything they were saying. All I could understand was we will call you back at a better time. When trying to call the number back it said "The google voice subscriber is not available, please leave a message at the tone". Very weird.

I got a cal similar to this one, but i don't know if it was ATT, the phone was cutting  out alot. And when i called the number back it said the same thing that you put" google voice suscriber is not available". What did they say to you?

A lady called a few minutes ago, this was the second time in an hour the first was a hang up, the second call was asking for my husband whom I haven't seen or talked to in over 2 years, when told this she replied with "oh sorry about that" and hung up! on calling the number back got the same message"The google voice subscriber is not available, please leave a message at the tone" This is strange!

the same has been happening to me too!! except i havnt spoken to anyone. and when i call back its says the google number is not accepting calls. has anyone actually no what company is doin this? please let me know thanks!!!

I think if they are bill collectors, i feel theyr are giving google name/products a bad rap. because google name is attached to their harassments!!!!

I've received several calls from this number to my cell phone over the past few days and they hang up either before I answer or right after.  When I try to call back I also receive the spiel about the google caller.  Google has this service where you can get a phone number from them that forwards to a phone of your choice.  Kind of like a proxy?  You give out the google phone number and it forwards calls to your phone so that you don't have to give out your actual number.

This number called me the other night and left a message with some woman saying, "Hello?" four or five times promptly followed by a hang-up. When I attempted to call back it went straight to voice-mail saying that, "The goggle voice subscriber is not available, please leave a message after the tone."

Based on the above responses, this sounds like telemarketer of some kind, although I'm not sure exactly what this person or these people are tying to accomplish as they never stay on the line long enough to sell or promote anything. Ignore this number if it calls you.

I just got a call from this number, and they were calling reagarding CA Propositions 23-26
On props 24 & 25 they urge the "public" to vote NO. on props 23 & 24 they urge you to vote YES.
I told them i would do MY OWN RESEARCH!

Got a call also alot like all the above just asking if I was (name) and then hung up... Kind of ridiculous if you ask me.

I just got my second call from this number. No message on the machine of course. So i came across this site and one of the posters indicated that it was a political sway message from California Alliance Action Fund. So I put that into google and found the official filer for the organization and talked to a woman named Julie who said she the treasury rep or something like that and would try to take me off the list. The number is (213) 452-6540. My number is unlisted and I thought war/auto dialer telemarketing was illegal. I do not need political standpoints shoved in my face during dinner. I have the sample ballot, and I can do my own unbiased research. Thanks y'all and I hope this helps.

so what is this number for? they probably called about 20 times today and they never leave a voicemail or anything i never answer bc idk who it is....
