I received a message stating that I would be sued if I did not pay $500.

There is no such agency as "Financial Crime Department." THIS IS A SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money for fictitious crimes or extort personal info.

I received these calls as well. There should be a way to block the number.
