Phone rang answered to a dead line. This was probably a telemarketer. I am getting tired of stopping what I am doing running in to answer the phone to a dead line. I am on the do not call list but this doesn't seem to work.

Called and no message left.  Likely telemarketer.

Return call says "The person you have called has a voice mail box that has not been set up yet."  Doesn't sound like a professional to me.  Probably a scam.

the guy on the phone gave a call back number of 213 446 6108.
Will give a written free estimate for home remodel.  Says they have a website, but it is currently DOWN ??
Told them we are on the do not call list and he said that it just dialed my  number from the system, so I am in a system, despite a do not call list.  Number on machine was 805 338 6312

Answered --- they asked for me by name (Mrs. -------).  Said his name was Mike from Home Center.  Told him I was not interested in any home improvements then hung up and immediately blocked the number, which, by the way, said Wireless Caller.

They've called me twice today. 1st time, I picked up, they hung up; 2nd time, about an hour later, I let my phone pick up, they didn't leave a message.

This outfit-frequently called "The Home Center" and other names, change their caller faked caller ID/phone number more often than most people change their underwear. I've had calls from them three to six times a day with different caller IDs/phone numbers-I know this because I began to recognize their voices.  Asking/telling them to remove you from their list only results in MORE calls. I now screen unknown calls through the answering machine and block all who don't leave messages with my Panasonic phone. This has brought nuisance calls way down. By the way, these clowns have been reported to a number of agencies including FCC, FBI, DO NOT CALL LIST, police and government officials-it's a waste of your time-they either can't or won't do anything about them.

Called twice within 2 hours.  No message left.  I didn't respond.

stupid me, I answered. The guy on the other end, after a short delay, asks for me or my husband by name. I say I am me and he introduces himself as John Adams and he is a contractor that happens to be in our neighborhood in the next few days and gave the spiel about needing repairs on my house. I told him I was very ill. He apologized and then said he would check back in a few months. I immediately blocked the number. He has called back every day since. The blocked call still shows up. What a jack&@&!

Thank you 800notes for having this site to look these numbers up. Mr. Patriotic "John Adams" and all the scum sucking telemarketers that lie and harass the innocent, God knows what you are doing and although you get away with stuff here and there, your judgement day will come! That sucks for you!

We no longer answer unknown phone calls.  No message was left.
Have blocked their future calls.
Called on sunday morning @ 10:51am,

Called again this morning.  Blocked their call Sunday, the 24th.
Yep - you are blocked forever!

Called 3X this morning within a few hours...again!   Leaves no message. Telemarketer I guess....<grrr>

I answered the phone and they said nothing.  They waited a bit and then ended the call.  Do these people have nothing to do with their day?

Six calls from them in the last two weeks - to my cel phone, no less!  There's a special spot in hell for these folks.

I answered the phone "This is a secured line. All calls will be monitored, traced, and recorded."
"George" from "The Home Center claimed he and his son will be in the area finishing up a project and wanted to know if they could come by and provide an estimate. "George" also wanted the name of the person who answered the phone. I explained AGAIN this call is being recorded and a location trace was in progress. I also reminded him that it was he who made the telephone call and if he has no idea the name of the person he is calling, his name, location, and recording will be forwarded to fraud investigators.
"George" screamed at me, claimed I was breaking the law, and he would  "sue" me if I notified the authorities.
I simply inquired as to how he was going to name a defendant when he himself stated he had no idea who he was calling..."GEORGE" promptly disconnected the call.

Persistent little buggers - still blocked!

Yet another call to my cel phone from 805-338-6312.  May they rot in hell!!

It had its name listed as wireless caller and this exact number. I didn't answer it and they left no message so I assume its pointless to have myself on a do not call list anyhow.

Junk call.  Didn't answer.  Blocked this number.  (And have gotten many calls from "WIRELESS CALLER" recently.)

They call at least once a day - get a clue - take a hint!
