Called me and asked for me by name. Then hung up

Just called. No msg. Block!!!

Asked me if my name was ____ and If I lived on _______ Street.  He said that his name was Marco from The Remodeling Center.  I told him that I didn't call anyone and he responded that they were going to be in the area.  Then as I was telling him again that I didn't make any appt, he hung up on me.

Hung up no message

calls, leaves no msg, annoying

Called close to 7 pm, didn't recognize number so didn't answer, didn't leave a message.

hang up, no msg, jerk

This [***] ask for my mother by name, she didn't live with me. I told him this is her son, responds with "yea" and clicks. Tried calling back and says they don't have message box set up

I never answer the phone from a number I don't recognize, but some of what I saw in this thread when I got a call from this number makes me want to comment. If anyone calls you form an unknown number and immediately asks if you are you, DO NOT ANSWER "YES". Ther was a news story a couple of weeks ago about how scammers are RECORDING your voice when you say, "Yes" and using that recording to acquire approval on credit cards, etc. DO NOT RESPOND WITH ANY KIND OF AFFIRMATIVE ANSWER UNTIL YOU HAVE ASKED WHO IS CALLING AND CONFIRMED THAT THEY ARE REAL.

I've been receiving calls from this number weekly. I have heard a recording that pretends to be live only to realize it's a recording. I just called the number and got a recording that the voice mail box has not been set up yet. Next time I will answer and hopefully get a person that I can express myself to. How do you stop these calls?

Why did you confirm ANY information to a total strange who called you?

You hit that little i that has a circle around it in the corner of where it shows they called. Next, you scroll down within that screen and hit Block this Caller.  Finally, you forget about it, and spend your energy on something that is truly important in your life.

Never confirm personal information with a stranger. Period. Always ask who they are and get more info from them. This guy has called before about home improvement. He says his name is "Marco" and  I just have fun with him until he hangs up on me.

Called Cell, I didn't pick up. They didn't leave a message. They are now blocked.

Called unanswered Cell but left NO message.  Called number back only to be advised no mailbox has been setup. Scam call

Why do I get so many of these from Thousand Oaks, CA? Are they offering cheap rent for boiler room outfits out there, lol?

called cell today, sunday.  Never answer unknown telephone calls - never call a number back.
Did not answer - Blocked

Called, didn't recognize the number, left no message, checked here then blocked.
