ANI comes up as "Wireless Caller".  Caller says it's the Construction Center or something to that effect. Hung up immediately and blocked number.  Obvious scam

Just got the call... Blocked it.  Thanks for the heads-up.

Did not answer and they did not leave a message

Does SOP Scammers asking about repainting our house hung up immediately.

They called.  "Wireless Caller"   I said hello and no one said anything.   They didn't hang up ...... just dead air.  Now blocked.

Answered b/c I run a business in the Conejo Valley. Was a contractor looking for work

An unwanted call from this Newbury Park cell number arrived today.  When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space.  Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.

Posters report this is an alleged scam contractor.  Whether it's home repairs, credit cards, solar energy, vacation giveaways, computer repairs, or the IRS, a scam is a scam is a scam (with apologies to a famous poet).  LET YOU ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THEIR CALLS.

Got a with a caller ID of Zia Farid. I answered and the guy asked by my last name. I asked who is calling, and scum said "lion king" with a laugh, then the line went dead. I can tell he called from  a boiler room.

They were "selling" home repairs.  When I asked to be removed from list they hung-up on me.

Another spoofed call - this one from Thousand Oaks.  If I don't know the number, they can speak to my voicemail doorman.  No message.  BLOCKED

random call - saw these and blocked

Phone rang and they hung up.  No message.   From prior reports, it appears to be a telemarketer spoofing a number from Newbury Park.

Phone rang no message

Phone rang, sent it to voicemail, no message left.

Same number called me today trying to do home repair and when I said I wasn't interested, he hung up on me.  What a jerk.

Called added to my blocked list

Only reason I answered was because I thought it might have been a company making a delivery for me. Nope. It was Rebecca from "the remodeling center" today. Asked how they knew my name and number and told that perhaps I had made an inquiry to Home Depot, Lowes or Angies List in the last six months or so. Nope. Told them that since I'm on the no-call list and she didn't tell me her company's real name, I'm sure they're operating illegally. So she tells me that she's sure I'm home doing nothing when I should be at work. And hung up. Real nice.
