805-395-2100

Call came in at 2:25 on a Tues afternoon. Caller ID says "unknown". Left no message. A Google search of the number shows interesting results. First is that it is a mobile number that originated in Cambria, CA and the second is that it is a known number associated with India. Seems like a conflict in information.

Same thing to report ... says Cambria. No message left.

Called left no message. When I called back I got a busy signal.

A call originating from this number was received today.  The caller left no spoken or unspoken message.  According to both www.whitepages.com and www.411.com this is a VOIP number originating from Cambria, CA in San Luis Obispo County.  The apparent provider of the VOIP number is bandwith.com, an internet communications company based in Raleigh, NC.

Similar VOIP numbers have been used by scam artists.  One that I encountered recently is (509) 828-4313, a number used by someone operating an I.R.S. tax scam.  The caller pretends to be the I.R.S. and demands settlement of a "tax matter" by threatening an arrest warrant if a sum is not paid immediately by purchase of a prepaid credit card.  Don't fall for scams originating from VOIP numbers!  Know who is calling you, and don't answer the phone if the number is unfamiliar to you.

called today at 6:40 pm pst 09/24/2014; caller id says 8053952100.

no message. call blocked.

pest call!

losers, stumbled over their question, never made it past the first 3 words with me.."how are you"     (CLICK)
PLEASE...a dead giveaway when someone asks that.

Got a call on 10/28/14 @ 5:30 pm caller ID said Cambria CA 805-395-2100. Person said "is this Mrs. Sandy?" Which is my name. I said "yes" and then the line went dead.

The mystery caller from a VOIP number in Cambria called again, just 2 weeks since the previous call.  As expected, there was no message left on voice mail.  This is likely a dialing-for-dollars scammer, possibly using a spoofed number to troll for victims.  DON'T BECOME A VICTIM.  DON'T ANSWER THESE CALLS.
