Recorded message about having clients directed to your business via Google but I do not believe it is actually Google soliciting the service.

I let this call go to voice mail while I googled it.  They hung up.  I am so grateful for this site and unfortunately use it too often.

I was solicited by them. Told I qualified for front page listing in Google for a flat rate. I don't think Google operates that way.

I'm also on the no-call registry so they shouldn't be contacting me.

Both numbers are now blocked.

Buy a call-blocking phone.  Uniden and Panasonic make wonderful call blocking phones and they're inexpensive.  They also come with at least one wireless handset.  Very handy!!!
These phones also block “Out of Area” and “Private” calls.

Telemarketing call. Left no message with our answering svc but hung up on them.

I've started letting all long distance and toll free numbers go to my answering machine.  
Unfortunately the Panasonic phone I have only blocks 30 calls and I've max'd it out.  
I figure if it's a valid call, they'll leave a message!
Problem solved!

It isn't Google people.  They are SEO type marketing firms that want you to pay lots of money so your web site can be on the front page of Google.  Sure, everyone can be on the front page of Google.  

SPAM.  Blocked at carrier.  Adding to database.  Now have over 315 known spam numbers that are all blocked.  I now have a robo-dialer server calling my list 24/7.  Love it.

Called on 10/22/2013 @11:58 AM from Ventura Central, CA. No message left. But apperentaly another Google imposter claiming to get you a top spot on Google listing. I get at least 10 of these a week from various area codes around the counrty. We let every out of area code or unrecognizable call go to voicemail. 99.9% of robo callers will hang up before the 5th ring where I set voicemail to activate. So I never waste my time having to delete this crap from my voicemail.

Spam/Telemarketer crap

Ventura Central, Ventura Central What? Central sewage storage? Central mortuary? Central Liars and Scammers is more like it. They offer me a top-of-page on google, I offer them saran wrap at the end of the road. I guess neither one is interested it the other's offer. I would gladly lower each and every employee and management personnell and their families into a large vat of chrome plating solution. I would love to witness their craniums boiled clean by a mild acid. Then the scraps could be put to a positive use: soil amendments in some barren toxic wasteland like eastern New Jersey. Then there would finally be an actual use for these cretins. Until then; there IS no possible use for them, so why haven't they been exterminated yet? Surely some of the big ends-with-a-vowel families must've been pi$$ed off by these jerks, so why do they get a free pass? Ahhhhhhh! Must be PART of same families. This whole tele-scam era is coming to an end: I'm getting rid of all phones, and using direct lips-to-ear for all communications. No more e-mail, no more direct mail, no more solicitation of any sort.

Called but I didn't answer.  I looked up the number here.  As I did so, the phone rang for almost 15 minutes.  It would ring 30 times then immediately redial and ring another 30 times.  Is I suspected - a scam!
