Called my CELL PHONE, of all things @ 10:40 A.M. on December 7, 2013. I didn't answer, and they left no message.

I've received this number, too, on my own cell. Don't ask me why my phone's caller ID didn't read "Verizon," if this information is correct, but if this is the kind of garbage that the company is pulling, then it looks like I'll just have to change cell phone service carriers, seeing as I've never had to call them for anything that would urge them to call me back and discuss the matter over the phone.

I got a call from this number today, 12/7.  The caller ID showed:Northern Los Angeles. I didn't pick up and it left no VM either.

caller ID here said Raytheon Company. Answered and it was "Heather" about lowering my interest rates. Grrrrrrrr! Added to my "block" list.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

The card service scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their attempts to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!

An automated message was left that had already begun before being recorded.  Message was something about lowering my interest on what, I don't know.  Caller ID showed from Goleta, CA.

I just received a recorded call from this number that I could lower my interest rate. When I was connected to a live person, I asked the name of the company and which account were they calling about, the person stated, "Your VISA and Mastercard" then he disconnected the call. 805-562-2225 called around 11am EST. I answered just in time for the call to be dropped. Have recently had similar number blocked from my phone will be adding this one to the list.

Just got a call from this number. Left no message, called back (I missed the call) and the line was busy. It said "Goleta, CA" for location. Seems to be annoying a lot of people. Nice to see the internet destroying telephone scams :)

Similar experience. When call connected the rep said he wanted to lower the interest on my credit card. When I shared I had none and I wanted to know what account they were referring to the line disconnected. I called back twice and the line was busy.

Got a call from this number today, my phone says it's located in Goleta, CA???!!!  Didn't answer, they of course did not leave a VM.

Got three calls today from this number - No messages.  Caller ID listed them simply as "California"
