Why isn't King Obama cracking down on this and helping people instead of bothering people?

Why are these parasites allowed to exist? Why is law enforcement not arresting and jailing these criminals? Why are the phone companies not blocking phone service to these telemarketing scammers with their illegal robocalls?

I received this telemarketer call about receiving stimulus money for small business.  I didn't answer, but they left a recorded message.  These are indeed parasites.  The last time I checked, I was paying my phone bill each month -- not telemarketers, thus, I should have say-so on who calls me.  The way our wonderful Congress works, they allow telemarketers to call a business listing and they're exempt from the Do Not Call List.  I contacted my state senators, Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isaakson, and all I got was complete B.S. about how they might offer businesses services they needed and that's why business listings are exempt.  What crap!  They are just padding the pockets of our politicians, along with lobbyists.  People need to know who they are voting for in Congress and vote out the ones there.  People know more about the Survivor show contestants or the idiots on Dancing With The Stars than the politicians they vote on!  Sad . . .

I somehow needed some cash for my new inventories for the holidays businesses. So I pressed number 1 to speak to the so-call specialist!
This guy spoke to me in a very top-brass ways that he from gov offices to help fund to businesses for this tough time . He asked if I familiar with the Gov policy for this Grant businesses funding that is going on ?
I  answered  "No". Then the man abruptly hang up .
Is this real or "April the 4 "  came late? But to me this is a scam that used to rise when the economy that gone bad. People should be careful out there.

Just received another robo call about grants. Free. Yeah, right! But don't you just hate it when you dash to pick up your business (or personal) phone promptly and a nameless voice starts rambling on about mortgage rates, potential grant funding, or carpet cleaning, to name a few? Is this one way of avoiding the home-phone "do not call" list? Don't let these nuisance callers spoil your day, though! :>)

Probably for the same reason Court Jester Bush didn't handle it.

Caller I.D. say BUSINESS LOCAL.  I answered and it was a robocall about stimulus money for businesses like mine.  I tried hanging up about three times over the course of a long message.

Rec'd junk call from 805-580-5220 - [12:24 pm] - did not answer, annoying robo-call msg left for grant monies. Reverse Lookup points to wireless phone from Santa Barbara, CA.

Mo' monies being pissed away by Socialist Obama at the rest of us productive and working class. Yes former Bush wasn't guilt-free about this either.

The call is via wireless, so someone has an unlimited plan, and via PC, has robo-calling in ad nauseum mode, annoying and irritating everyone else... much like the sit-in protestors, annoy, detract, and consume time from the productive class. Clearly a wet-dream for all Socialists and bottom feeders.

Equally irritating is AT&T with only ten numbers that you can block, and I might add none of which can be toll-free, when you do a *60.

You all miss the bigger picture here! Rather than piss and moan about Obama, Bush, or any other govt agency. You should be more worried about the fact that someone somewhere 'sold' your phone number. It is this a$$holes that should be put in jail for selling info. I received the same call at my work phone, and it is behind a firewall. So some jerkface that I do business with that has my legit work # sold to this other jerkboy. That is what needs to be stopped, then the end result would be this would stop.

I got the same recorded message about grant money for small businesses. At the end was the option to press 1 to speak to someone, or press 2 to be removed. I pressed 2. We'll see what happens.....

Received call from  telemarketer about receiving stimulus money for small business.  yeah right...the president has set aside money for ME!  Big scam!  hahahahaha

My called ID did not show the name of the company, but it said Business - Local.  The message the robocaller left said the government was giving "grants" to small businesses and that the grant money did not need to be repaid.  I've had enough of these calls in the last several years to know it is a scam, so I did not call back, but I would like to know who the caller is.

This number left a voice mail about grants for businesses on a home phone's voice mail box.   Why do people keep calling my home phone number about a business?   Obviously they never check the DO NO CALL LIST.
