This number called me shortly after the (605) 782-5252 number called and is  a possible scam.  I missed both calls.  No messages. When I called the 805# back I got a guy on the other line saying he was from Wells Fargo and he wanted my name. There was something unprofessional and spooky about it.  Perhaps I am paranoid but I hung up immediately. I decided not to call the 605# back since the first unrecognized number was creepy. I got another missed call/ no message from the 605# and that's when I googled it and found the posted information about it on 800notes. It seems that this scam is tried on several numbers. They may have tried the 805# because I once lived there and would be more likely to respond?

I called this number back and they are with Wells Fargo, I told them I do not give inforamtion over the phone due to identity theft.  They informed me I can go to their bank and ask for the guy.  They would like to help me re-finance my vehicles.  But again I NEVER give any information over the phone.

I've physically been to their office before.
Over the past few years I've received calls relating to my account with them, as well as sales calls from that number.
I can't speak to their phone-practices, but it's definitely a legitimate financial institution, and not a "scam".
